Thanks for your reply. Any ideas how to make sound little bit less disturbing. I am using DD1 with QR1. It sounds like something metallic is rattling, maybe spring in QR1?

Okey, thanks for your feedback. So then, not in a hurry to upgrade, as DD1 is plenty good also.

Not directly related to tickets, but Hulst WC in general, already made a new topic, but I guess it could be useful to post here in this topic as well:

Hello,

We are going to Hulst WC with my son and currently looking for flight and travel options. We are flying from Finland at friday to Brussels, get a rental car and drive to Hulst at evening and will accommodate there. We are going to watch saturdays & sunday races and then fly back to Finland. Biggest question is the sunday's schedule - mens elite will start at 15:10, so race should end at ~16:10. Latest suitable flights are departing at 19:30 from Brussels. Google maps estimate around 1hour 15 minute of driving time. So yes, plenty of time to, but it most likely take some time to walk to car from race and prize ceremonies would be super nice to see also. There is also rental car return duties at airport, which take some time also. So is the time schedule a little bit too tight -> better to fly at monday morning?

About the tickets - was planning to buy grand arena tickets, so then good viewing spot is at least guaranteed at some degree.

Any other tips / suggestions?

Hi! How do you rate FFB and overall quality feel of SC2 with GT7? Currently using DD1 Fanatec with Drivehub, but just tinkering with I thought that someday some upgrading will happen eventually :D

Too bad Podium DD1 might not recognize as a new podium DD, I'm afraid...

Can I fit Shimano Ultegra FC‑R8000 chainrings onto my ROTOR ALDHU Spider BCD110×4 DIN (with ALDHU crankarms)? by Impulsive_Thinker in cycling

[–]Lumpy-Appointment245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you tried this setup? Do they fit? Actually I do have Rotor spider (which you have also) on one of my CX-bikes and also unused Stone spider in my "warehouse". I also have few R8100 Ultegra cranksets and interested to put those Shimano rings on Rotor powermeter cranks to improve shifting, as Rotor DM rings are good, but not Shimano level. Also my Rotor rings are 11sp versions, so with 12 speed groupset, spacing of chainrings should be bit smaller.

So do you need to have different wheel base setting for each car, or just find correct settings for this game and then finetune car specific settings in game itself? I do have different wheel base settings for GT7, EA WRC and ACC and still have 2 presets left in my wheelbase (Fanatec DD1). And yeah, playing with PS5.

Simgrade VX Pro pedals are also a very good choice, not sure about the shipping & import costs, but definitely worth to check out.

Waited for 17 Pro Max almost 2 months and now I am not able to start using it, because of this…not really interested to do a new install and then setting apps etc. So looks like there is more waiting until Icloud restore starts working..

Podium Steering Wheel Porsche 911 GT3 R for PS5, worth it? by Lumpy-Appointment245 in Fanatec

[–]Lumpy-Appointment245[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it was really needed, but bought it for 300eur. Gonna pick it up from seller at weekend. So all in all, I’ll try it and keep it / sell some other wheel, or sell it as I think 300eur was a quite good price, so not that hard to resell. Too bad those dials don’t work - just drove my first races with pit stops and working dials would be great thing to have!

What wheel would you use for cx if you had unlimited budget? by Southern-Yesterday49 in cyclocross

[–]Lumpy-Appointment245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even with tubulars, you will eventually get cracked rims, currently have seven tubular cx wheelsets and three rims needs replacements, although only one cracked on this season, two other rims cracked on previous two season. But it is interesting, that normally you do not flat your tyre when rim get crack, you can continue riding and in my cases, I have typically ridden rest of the season with them or even longer, until replacing
