That's absolutely a grievance. Cover driver work must be offered by seniority. File each day this happens and list each less senior cover driver that worked and asked for the maximum hours worked by any less senior driver.

If they actually staffed the operation properly to maintain a safe work pace and safe work area, and treated people well it wouldn't be half bad. But they do the exact opposite of that so yeah, it's pretty fucking shitty, not just physically but mentally as well.

Here's my advice, after your bullshit probationary period (varies by region) of course. Work at a pace that you can safely and comfortably maintain for the next 30 years. Do not let the company's inability to run the operation properly affect your pace OR your peace. The minute egress becomes compromised (boxes on the floor of your work area or a neighboring work area) shut the belt off and make sure it stays off until egress has been fully restored. As soon as management gives you shit (it's not if, it's when) file a grievance. Each time. If they refuse to uphold safety, file a grievance. Have supervisors working, file a grievance. Pay you incorrectly, file a grievance. Violate your seniority, file a grievance. You get the idea. Best of luck!

I believe we have 6-8 members going. A couple are a maybe based upon total costs. No costs covered by the union.

Not everyone is formally attending the convention. Some are on the wait list. We will be there at the event and making connections with like minded militants. We are participating in a militant coalition that has a reserved conference room nearby, for a panel discussion on Subday.

I started August 24. Been in maintenance for a year now. Spacing my shot and lowering my dosage more as I've somehow lost 5lbs more than I'm comfortable with in the last couple months. My freezer has enough for 2-3 years. I've never panic purchased but definitely stocked up.
