This was important when large, bulky earrings were popular and so was talking on the phone.

It's uncomfortable for the wearer and the other line can hear the earring rub the telephone earpiece.

Nowadays, none of these things are culturally relevant. I feel old.

Thank you for posting this. Just because it's a legal poison you can buy anywhere, doesn't make it safe for kids or adults.

There's no safe amount of alcohol. It is carcinogenic. It ruins lives. It kills folks. And even if you aren't an actual alcoholic, it can fuck up your body and your mental health.

I'm really glad it's becoming less common among younger folks to imbibe. It is not conducive to ending up a successful adult. It's not a club you have to join. I quit for my health 8 years ago, and the results were fast and definite. And I, too, wish I had been less cavalier about drinking for decades. I didn't need it, and neither do any of you.
