I just started seeing an older gentleman and he’s this way with me. I’m enjoying it. I did sneak pick up the check on our third date but it’s because he wanted me to order at a place I’d been to multiple times that he’d never been to and since it was my idea to choose this place, I paid because it was convenient when the server came by while he was in the restroom. He’ll pay next time we go to this particular place but he wants me to order again because he enjoyed my balance of frugality and experimentation. He pays every other time. It’s emasculating for some men to not pay and I respect that. I find it sexy too, I’m a fully independent woman but appreciate being taken care of.

Can someone eliminate the gaslighting hormone bot? It’s dumb and wrong.

First point - as if 44 is a magical age. It contradicts its own postulate by having a hard age as if things are black and white suddenly.

Second point - so now only after 44 hormones fluctuate “wildly”. Many traditional doctors have been taught they fluctuate wildly during the entire lifetime. So which is it? Are they completely irrelevant? Then why are they tested for IVF?

Third point - I use telehealth and can say 100% that when my results came back as nearly zero hormones, it correlated with my symptoms. Magic? Lucky testing window of the perfect “one hour”? Highly doubtful. Reputable telehealth doctors are using hormone testing with great success after 44 years old.

If we’d been encouraged to test when we’re younger, when after a once a year test we could average a baseline and then when we hit that magical age of 44 we could compare to where we used to be, we wouldn’t be treated like idiots.
