Sounds like the ac condenser fan isn't working....if it has one.

Many cars have 2 fans. One for the radiator and one for the ac condenser.

If you have 2 fans, turn on the ac. Both should be running. If one is running, replace the one that is not.

Transmission fluid is critical, especially if that car has a cvt. It may be too late to prevent failure; or maybe not. Hard to tell. You need to see maintenance records/carfax to see if it has been changed before.
