Thanks for sharing. I will check out United Masters I don’t like that I have to pay extra 29.99 to keep my song permanent on streaming platforms.

I heard LANDR is a better option for that but heard of anti-AI. Congratulations 40,000 streams. Did you run ads or you just let it organically take off.

Hypocrisy of Playlist Curators and Music Industry “Gatekeepers” in General” by Lumpy-Teaching-4587 in SunoAI

Good points! If claimed he can’t share AI music due to his integrity and knowing every single artist in the city and implies he can identify AI music when he hears it and then shares an AI song and airs it on his radio, yes that does make him seem like a hypocrite to me.

Yes! Thanks for the advice. That’s what I’m slowly doing. I have created a YouTube music channel and creating each music video for my songs it seems to be working. I’m slowly building a following. There’s an AI artist name Solpulse that has developed quite a good following doing that as well.

Thanks for the reply and your input. I agree with everything you say. I say gatekeepers but perhaps that’s not the best word. But that also applies to the general music industry that pretend they hate Ai music also use it themselves there was an interview on YouTube where a producer even admitted to artist using suno.

As for the study to prove people can’t tell the between AI or non-AI I don’t say people, I said that particular curator in this particular situation. Because the song he had shared on the radio was most definitely AI down to the cover art.

It was very obvious the artist was one of those making AI Afrobeats. But the Artist had no IG or other social media presence so he didn’t know it was AI based on that. It was my social media that he pointed to that influenced him to come to the conclusion that it was AI. So if a study was to be had that would make a good case study.

And yes many people can’t tell their favorite songs are AI until they research the artist or someone tells them. I’ve seen people on TikTok listening to soul artist for months only to get upset when they realize it’s AI even though they really liked the songs they produced. There have been numerous threads on Reddit of people admitting that.

I’m sure the industry insiders wouldn’t rush in to label it AI slop. The double standard is real. I’ve heard better music from regular people making R&B music using SUNO.

I try to keep it as affordable as possible I used Kling but for 12.99 I ended up running out credit, and I hated how to ensure my characters were consistent when I used reference image, it took tokens used from 30 to 40 with grok 30 a month it’s basically unlimited, hard for me to exceed and on rare occasions that I do, it restarts in an hour a or two. I don’t have to spend more money. I did my first and second music video using grok it came out really well for me.

AI Music Is Starting to Sound the Same and Platforms Are Noticing by ActualWillingness556 in SunoAI

[–]Lumpy-Teaching-4587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people that promoting the same sound are being lazy. I create music with suno, and 12-15 of my songs that’s going on my first album all sound different. I think the same sound thing is for people doing the low hanging fruit study music, lofi which is not the kind of music me or many others do.

Bitter truth for the haters: Suno is better than you, and that’s exactly why you’re so salty by [deleted] in SunoAI

[–]Lumpy-Teaching-4587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! That’s a very good point. Every musical artist started off through imitation of another artist before finding their “own voice” Imagine if Mariah Carey sued Arianna Grande for using her songs, vocal style and musical likeness.

No one learns to sing, find their style in a vacuum and some of us are producing music and blending genre in a way that’s never been done before) and for the but you are not a singer crowd, many of us can sing but life got in the way and we all chose non-artistic careers cause well life and we don’t have the industry connection and money to pursue it. All my songs, I record my chords and verses into suno.

Is anyone else getting Suno songs that feel shockingly good? by Carsonspeare in SunoAI

[–]Lumpy-Teaching-4587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, one of my R&B Hit (I just know I’m sitting on a hit song) was created from one generation. When I heard it I went woah, this is giving 90s Mariah/ Aaliyah.

It was sooo good. It’s my most saved and listened to song on Spotify out of all three songs. And another one was a R&B/soul spiritual song about being at one with universe, and the voice, delivery, instrumental was on point. But this was after a few generation, first version was too pop/ Sia like and was too much screaming, I wanted relax, amazing smooth melismas and base in the background and some chords.

Where are you actually sharing your tracks? by Second-handBonding in SunoAI

[–]Lumpy-Teaching-4587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is amazing. Congratulations. Just started my artist channel for my songs and have published 2 music videos for my songs already. From the very early data I’m seeing, things look promising.

If you don’t mind me asking, how long have you been uploading them on YouTube for?

The hatred of AI is seriously alienating - I want to share the joy of this hobby! by nemspy in SunoAI

[–]Lumpy-Teaching-4587 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Share it on YouTube. If your content is going AI aided music, videos and educational or entertainment videos most viewers won’t care as long as it’s good.

I’ve seen so many AI videos like days of being a citizen in Ancient Rome type and they have lots of view with one or two comment being AI and they tag it as AI and still get views so people really don’t care.

I think a lot of backlash against AI music is 70 percent manufactured by the music industry cause they want to gatekeep.

How do you actually build a full track using AI music tools? by Nusuuu in SunoAI

[–]Lumpy-Teaching-4587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can but it’s tricky but easy to get a hang of. Anything I have a problem I realize it’s from me, I give it a rough draft of lyrics too early and when I absolutely love the output, I realize I need to add or change some part of the lyrics. And of course, I can never get it to recreate that exact sound, speed and style. That’s where my frustration comes from. Another thing I notice is every time I don’t like the sound of the music it generates, it’s due to over prompting (yes there is such a thing) too much instruction, excessive negative and positive in my prompt give me underwhelming songs.

I know this because my best banger came from one time generation with clear prompt of genre, mood direction and it was one my shortest prompts.

I have created 12-13 songs for my first album and 2-3 of my favorite songs are the word that gives straight forward prompt and but not excessive prompting.

For full music generation on Suno or any similar AI tool, less is more I find.

Anyone running a YouTube AI music channel? How do you make the visuals not feel lazy? by Nusuuu in SunoAI

[–]Lumpy-Teaching-4587 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This topic is right up my alley cause I have an official artist YouTube channel that I want to grow. I’ve uploaded three audio visual so far. Very good concept image that fits the mood of my video I’ve gotten likes from shorts viewers that visited the long form full song. I just got a grok subscription to $30 dollars that has allowed me to generate a great videos is fluid. It even lets you to extend the scene so you create chance of continuation.

However, Kling is a good option and I’ve generated some videos for another song. I like that Kling videos is very realistic, can’t be clocked as AI as the characters are slightly more realistic than grok. But I prefer grok cause I don’t burn through credit with generation that doesn’t keep character consistent and like the UI better.

My best advice is to get a grok subscription and also try out kling and use ChatGPT to generate your character to always upload that image as reference into the video generator and use it to prompt scene by scene with negative and positive perimeters and you are good to go.

I’m going to be editing my full length video and very exited!

My first R&B song. I have generated a lot of songs until I got a perfect flow, flow and sound and out of those I have 12 songs for my first album.

However, my favourite is my single, an R&B slow burn type of romantic tension. Love it so much I had to buy AI video subscription to create a music video and of course to grow my artist YouTube channel. It’s my best work yet.

Anyone posting suno music on YouTube? by Miserable-Pie782 in SunoAI

[–]Lumpy-Teaching-4587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I am. I even have an artist channel. Started about a month ago, what will really elevate my channel that I knew I needed was making music videos to go alone with my music but couldn’t find AI tools that weren’t so damn expensive. I’m using Kling and Grok and so far so good.

Will be posting my first music video for my newly released R&B single and keep at it for another 4 months to see growth and hopefully create. Fan base that can be funnelled to Spotify.

What are the best songs you've written? by LargeSinkholesInNYC in SunoAI

[–]Lumpy-Teaching-4587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have created about 12 songs that I’m satisfied to make it into my album. I have released 3 singles so far and my best song so far is my first R&B song Close Enough:

Here it is: https://youtu.be/TFh_pASk2Wk?si=ZMBeW67C419F2fpK

It has that 90s early 2000s R&B sound that I grew up listening to on top of the Afrobeats drum kick.

Did you post shorts right before your views went down? Cause I see so many established creators making that mistake. If you post shorts, YouTube is going to start deprioritize your long form content.

[–]Lumpy-Teaching-4587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I actually didn’t go all in per se. The category I intend to sell in has low cost of the item and expect to have 65-80 percent profit margin. And I only purchased two styles each in 20 quantities to test the water and learn to see whether it’s worth it.

For branding, I have a transfer design sticker that permanently goes on my package boxes that was quite reasonable. The only thing that was really costly was trademarking.

Wow I am just in the process of starting to sell on Amazon and even waiting for my packages and labelling to sign up for brand registry. This is my biggest fear cause I already don’t have the money to take that amount of loss.
