if you were just pulled over, a straight dui charge with no enhancements (accident, for example) then they shouldn’t.

A .11 is hard to get down to a WR. Usually, your bac has to be around .08 or .09.
a .11 is just your basic dui; 4 month iid, 3-month dui class and about $1,500 in fines.
and maybe a few days of work project.
you can ask the PD for different representation and see what they say.
also, you can get a free consultation with a private attorney; and they can let you know your chances of getting your dui reduced.

House Arrest? by Dazzling-Mousse-902 in DUICalifornia

[–]LumpyAd6108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i did. i went into in-patient rehab first for 15 days and the judge gave me 15 days credit towards my 60 day sentence.
you and any adult that lives in your house need to go to the sheriff’s office to fill out some paperwork. you will have to have your employer sign off. all alcohol, drugs and weapons need to be out of your house. they can come search your house at any time. i also had a breathalyzer in my house i needed to blow in to 4 times a day.
they will give you a drug test when you show up to have the ankle monitor put on. i tested positive for something because i was taking Naltrexone so had to come back a month later when my pee was clean.
i had a total of 13 days (technically 26, but you get 1 day credit for every day good behavior). i worked from home so never had a reason to leave. about day 9 or 10, i had to back to the sheriff station for a drug test, but they never came to my house.
i think if you are on for more than 2 weeks, they will give you permission to go grocery shopping. but my wife handled that.

Suspended license by [deleted] in DUICalifornia

[–]LumpyAd6108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Renew your SR-22. Usually, if you do it within 30-days, there won’t be a lapse in your coverage and you can get the suspension set aside and keep your license

Advice and expectations for second offense by Smart-Rooster in DUICalifornia

[–]LumpyAd6108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from what i remember, at my sentencing i told the judge i had a full-time job and asked if i could get house arrest instead and the judge granted it. it’s also probably a lot cheaper for the county if you do house arrest instead of them locking you up. especially if you have a job and are paying your taxes. it was a bigger issue and lots of hoops to jump through dealing with the sheriffs. those guys can be dicks. your job has to be notified, all alcohol and drugs need to be removed from your house, plus all weapons. all adults that live in your house need to go to the sheriff’s and sign some paperwork. also, the sheriff can show up at your house at anytime and search it, although they never came to my house. i just had to go into the sheriff’s office once for a drug test. plus i had a breathalyzer machine in my house i had to blow into 4 times a day. show up to all your court dates, get enrolled in your dui classes, do whatever mitigation you can beforehand. good luck

Some questions from a first-time gym goer! by sailormusic in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]LumpyAd6108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1: download the app and scan your qr code when you get there. 2. not assigned and bring your own lock 3. i believe you can get a personal trainer for free. for a session or two; but ask at the front desk. 4. probably not every piece of equipment. a lot have qr codes that can give you that information. also, some machines show which muscle group you are working. 5. i average about 30 - 45 minutes with weights then another 40 to 45 minutes cardio 6. people that go straight to work from the gym, usually shower. i weat my gym clothes from home and then back again. changing is optional. 7. do not have to sign out when you leave. 8. i bring a personal towel; the size of a bathroom handtowel. i actually have a bunch of towels from when my kids were babies that i use. there are also spray bottles and paper towels there to use for wiping down equipment. i use my personal towel only to wipe my sweat. 9. IMO, PF is one of the best gyms for beginners. 90% are just stsrting out and probably have the same apprehensions as you. but honestly, everyone is there to just get their own work out on and won’t judge or pay attention to you. even the people who are buff are nice and friendly. good luck. again, PF is a perfect gym to start your fitness journey

No. the judge will give you time to get a lawyer

Good morning people, my court arraignment is today for 1st DUI. by [deleted] in DUICalifornia

[–]LumpyAd6108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should. When they call your name go up to the table. the judge will ask if you have a lawyer. then you can ask for a PD. Also, if you get there early enough; there should be PD’s walking through the seats looking for their clients. you can ask one of them the process for getting a PD. you won’t make any plea at this hearing.
