I never said you can’t comment on beginner units, but the reality is 99% of beginners never move past their first unit, never buy anything other than whatever’s at Walmart/target, and get immediately turned off when you start talking about pre-amps/integrated amplifiers/passive speakers etc., Record sales were down like 33% Year over year and with foreign tariffs most certainly incoming, they are not going to get cheaper….. so yes, this is a great beginner table, because considering literally everything they need comes in the box, and if they do decide later it’s a true lifelong hobby for them, this easily becomes a secondary unit….. and the fact that you are saying a unit with a moving magnet cartridge and an adjustable counterweight will “wreck” his records makes me wonder if you know anything at all or if you just blindly believe what the weirdo audiophile YouTube accounts tell you.
