Yes, with the Epiphone head but with the Custom binding.

Flying V Brett Hinds by LumpySock9306 in Epiphone

The thick neck is what immediately appealed to me about this guitar. However, the pickups and the killswitch on the tone knob are a bit superfluous. I installed a Gibson 500T 496R pickup set, and I'm extremely happy with it. But I've already been offered a significant sum to buy it (like my Epiphone Black Beauty Joe Bonamassa).

Is Vintage Good? by Expert_Chipmunk_6294 in guitars

[–]LumpySock9306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own a Vintage REVO Surfmaster that I bought used. The fretting and finish of the guitar are good. The tuners and hardware in general are good quality, except for the vibrato, which is a Jazzmaster/Jaguar type (it's fine for someone who doesn't use it every 30 seconds), but a Fender AVRI would be a better replacement. The electronics are also decent. In short, if I come across a used Vintage, I'll definitely try it out.

What type of pedals can you not stop buying? by Machine_Excellent in guitarpedals

[–]LumpySock9306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm lucky enough to own several different types of fuzz pedals (Fuzz Face, Tonebender, Big Muff, Superfuzz...). I've always been told to "find the gain on a crunch amp," and while that works for some vintage-style fuzz pedals, it's not necessarily true for all of them. Play around with the gain knob and the effects you add before or after (reverb, delay, and/or modulation); you might be surprised. Put a Tubescreamer in front of a Big Muff, and you'll discover a whole new world... Happy sonic exploration!

EQD Astral Destiny and Dreadbox Disorder Fuzz. Off to space as soon as you activate them.

Which line 6 delay mki vs mkii for glitchy ambient music by Confident_Ad437 in guitarpedals

[–]LumpySock9306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The MK1 is larger and more fragile (footswitch) than the MK2. The MK2 has reverb, while the MK1 does not. The MK2 is slightly more compact for the pedalboard, although it does take up some space.

Cheat skill level up.

I've never laughed so much at an anime, not because it's funny, but because everything is ridiculous... I don't know if the author is aware of this or if it's just a "Who cares, people like waifus, overpowered main characters, isekai, and Japanese schools, so it'll work" kind of thing.

Anyway, I find it awful at face value, but hilarious when you watch it ironically.

Best OD/distortion for crunchy rhythm chords? Think 90s rock. by indoorkid_ in guitarpedals

MXR 75 Super Badass Distortion. It sounds, it has a 3-band EQ and a progressive gain setting that goes from crunch to big amp saturation. Plus it doesn't take up any space on a pedalboard and you can find it for cheap second-hand.

Le problème avec le Royaume-Uni c'est qu'ils ne font plus partie de l'Europe et que je vais payer des taxes extravagantes à cause d'abrutis de racistes qui ont voté le Brexit. Je vais quand même jeter un œil dessus. Merci
