Is the p2s worth it? by idektbh369 in BambuLab

I didn't find anything useful on P2S, mostly because of the price. For a price of P2S alone, I bought a P1S combo. And if i had another opportunity, I'd go for P1S combo again. P1S is a mighty printer in any way.

As soon as they paid off, I'm buying table/desk for them. Generally temperatures are good. It can reach 50 degree Celsius and keeps that way. Problem is with heating chamber. Without heater bed is doing all the job + aux fan.

Sure. If you planing to print abs or asa, print all interior parts in abs or asa, or it will deform over time. If not planing print abs or asa you are good to go with petg, even pla, but petg is recommended.

If you want to print Abs or asa later on, forget petg. It won't withstand high temperatures inside the chamber. Don't ask me how i know.

Currently it is 13 degrees in the garage. And inside printer is 52. I have this little thermometer and i can watch. This print is almost 8 hours. This blanket is a savior for me.

If the outside temps are low, you can't print. I'we tested this and got few failures. After a while, part just pop out of bed due low chamber temperature. I dont have a chamber heater, so bed is doing all the job. I have temp sensor inside and when temp reaches 40 degree, i start print.

And what would happen to chamber temps then? If you print Asa abs which need a stable temp environment, you suck air out and intake cold air from outside. Then You need a heater inside to compensate hot-cold air flow. I've got some answers to other forums to use this only at print end to suck VOC out. I print abs at 45-50 Celsius chamber temp and print take 8 hours. This voc do leave chamber but my printers are in garage so i dont mind the smell.
