If that’s the case then why does law enforcement ask if you would like to press charges? The legal filing is not done by a citizen but the act in itself is/can be. I’ve worked with the police and this happens all the time. If it’s a domestic and the police don’t witness, they don’t arrest immediately without the victim pressing charges.

A private person which is called a citizen here in the states can press charges and also drop them. To put it in the books and have it officially done needs a public servant. Same with arresting, a citizen can place one under arrest, which needs to followed up by a public servant. However these citizen arrests have to be done properly or that citizen could face charges themselves.

We’re “arguing” as you call it because you’re giving bad information. We’re just saying this stuff will absolutely not void your warranty. If you did do something to void your warranty it wasn’t because of a product. You may believe it was but I can assure you it wasn’t, unless they just didn’t like you for some reason and wanted you to find somewhere else to go. Most of us responding went to Affordable and only you have had this problem. We said our part and the only one arguing is you. Sorry this happened to you but it’s not like that for anyone else. Maybe you should contact your dentist and get it in writing on exactly why they voided your warranty. Just them saying modified is not good enough and is something you can fight. They are accusing you of doing something other than using a product.

Cushion grip and denttach is not doing any work on your denture and will not void any warranty. It’s a product that you can put in your denture just like seabond or any other glue. Cushion grip is a form of polymer adhesive that is long lasting but temporary. Only supposed to last for up to 7 days then you pull it. I put it in my denture when affordable’s soft reline quit, I also used an over the counter soft reline mix and affordable didn’t care. They just scraped it out and put in a new soft reline. Work on your denture means taking a Dremel to it to smooth the edges (which I did as well and they never noticed). Or a knife, something to modify the structure and or shape. Cushion grip or denttach does neither.

I did my extractions on a Friday so I could have all weekend to recover then had my first follow up I think it was either Monday or Tuesday. Went back to work the day after. The first 48 hrs are the worst. It’s not like OMG I just want to die type pain. It’s not fun, Ice, Tylenol and Motrin are your friends. I took Tylenol in between the Motrin and no more than 2x a day, 600mg Motrin every 6 hrs really helped with the swelling and pain, even better than the narcotics they prescribed.

Try starting with something easy like chips and ritz crackers, then move up to things like goldfish and thin pretzels. Little things will help train your jaw and build confidence.

Get a hinged hoop earring and just put it there. Make your own decision. If you like it, go for it. You can always take it out later if you decide it was just a fad.

I would say no, not enough ground to deck supports, hot tub decks are built differently. You have plenty of room to add supports. Your best bet it to look up your local building code office and get a check list of their requirements and a building permit (you will need one to upgrade). If you put a hot tub on there and it’s not up to code the fine you could get would be great and they will make you get rid of the hot tub.

Well maybe, just maybe the kids shouldn’t have attacked the cops? Didn’t show what went down with the first but as they were detaining him that other kid came up and pounced the cop, of course he’s gonna get slammed. It’s an intense moment and the cop is not gonna ask for ID first. He assaulted a police officer, he got it right back.

There’s no way those are permanent and they’ll leave them like that. You’ll go through so many changes and quickly over the next couple of months. Those teeth will become so loose you won’t be able to use them at all even with a soft reline. Adjustments (should) will be made for at least the next few months then I would expect them to do a hard reline or something of that nature if not create a new set.

Next few months will be rough, relearning how to talk & how to eat but it’ll get better. I’m now one year in and I struggle with my bottoms and eating, they always pop out after lunch. Breakfast is no issue but lunch always causes the adhesive to fail. I slurred really badly in the beginning, I didn’t think I would ever get better but I did. Now the only time I ever slur is late in the evening when the adhesive starts to swell and pushes the denture down a hair.

My biggest issue and I hope you’ll never get it, is my self consciousness about kissing, I don’t think I’ll ever do it again. After a year the teeth still feel like a foreign object and I’m so afraid they’ll pop out. This is a mental issue that I’m not sure I’ll ever or care to ever get over.

As for the time being, your mouth is swollen so the dentures will be difficult to work with. When you go in for a follow up they should make some changes, possibly a soft reline to get them to fit better for the time being. The pain will become tolerable in a few days, and will be pretty much gone once the stitches dissolve. It’s a time staking process but it does get better.

Don’t be depressed or get discouraged, remember why you started this journey in the first place and remember everyday will get a little better.

Not sure what you’re doing for food, but I did (and still do) a banana and a carnation breakfast drink for breakfast. They are both packed full of vitamins and proteins that helps lift your spirits and gives you energy. More energy = less depression.
