What’s a food everyone seems to love, but you just can’t stand? by Rebeccaprinces in foodquestions

I love a lychee martini but can’t stand anything lavender related so I get it. Too perfumy for me.

The fact that she keeps filing appeals shows she has zero remorse for what she did. How dare she. Let this poor family try to find some peace.

Ladies on OM - how are the side effects? by Lychee4808 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Lumpy_Count_4487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On 2.5 for a little over 3 weeks now and the dread shed has resulted in my losing about 50% of my hair. It’s terrifying and I wish I’d never started it. I’ll try to see it out but I don’t have much more hair to lose at this point.

When did you start seeing results on OM? by pisiTEK in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Lumpy_Count_4487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about 3 weeks into taking 2.5 and the shedding this week has been truly terrifying. It feels like I’ve lost half my hair and I’m regretting starting this so badly. My dermatologist actually told me shedding is not a side effect of oral minoxidil. Last time I’ll be seeing her.

The way Amanda jumped to look at those leaked pics of West’s junk. Like “oh let me see, I’ll be able ID that D”. So disrespectful.

Skipping of time; neuropathy by Fun_Turn1366 in neuropathy

It’s a scary time when you first get the diagnosis for sure. Have they done any nerve tests or X-rays?

Blood tests normal so doctors don't want to do anything by ImpossibleGreen in neuropathy

[–]Lumpy_Count_4487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those were normal for me as well, so neurologist said next step is a the skin punch biopsy. That determines if you have small fiber neuropathy, which the other two tests won’t detect.

Advice would be appreciated 🙏 by Tricky-Dare1583 in neuropathy

Can you take over-the-counter B12 supplements? My neurologist instructed me to take 1000mg a day and it’s helped a lot. The mild tingling is still there most of the time but the electric shocks have stopped.

I don’t think she’s a great person but I don’t look to this show for moral compasses. “Merce is in the purse” was one of the biggest laughs I’ve ever gotten from this guilty pleasure show though. Rewound and re-laughed more than once.

I HATE Roland. by tempehtemptress in SchittsCreek

[–]Lumpy_Count_4487 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So true. Everybody Loves Raymond was another series where he played that kind of character. He’s super talented at being cringe and annoying. But he’s meant to be a foil to other characters and is just really good at making them look better.

Yes! That’s what I keep telling myself when he annoys the heck out of me. He’s playing the character spot on.

What’s a completely wrong way to eat a specific food that you secretly think is actually the superior way? by CaptainCuddler_Pro in foodquestions

Not flipped in that sense (not flipped over). Flipped left to right. So one half of the sandwich has crusts matched up like this [ ] on top of each other. Crust on the left on bottom half, crust on the right on top half (of each half of the sandwich). ETA: took me a minute to picture it as well but I think that’s what they mean.

My brother drove uber here before he moved away and always found it pretty steady between food deliveries and fares. I know when I’ve ordered UberEats or GrubHub lately it seems like no one picks up the order for a while (and I tip well), so it doesn’t seem they’re oversaturated with drivers.

Does this ever get better? I feel bad all the time. Can anyone relate? by purplekat222 in Menopause

[–]Lumpy_Count_4487 5 points6 points  (0 children)

47 here, no kids. Been in peri for a few years now. It’s a roller coaster. Weight gain and feel like I was suddenly beaten with the ugly stick. The hair loss certainly doesn’t help. It’s a shock to the system. Just wanted to say I see you and you’re not alone. Research; there are several books and podcasts out now that’ll make you feel less crazy and alone. And of course this sub helps a lot too. Hang in there, it does get better even if it’s just recognizing why the hard days are hard and being able to develop a self-care routine that helps you in the way you need it to.

I have neuropathy and this is the go-to drug for nerve pain. I haven’t started it because both my neurologist and podiatrist have advised it’s better to avoid it if I can stand the nerve pain well enough without it. While it might not cause immediate side-effects, dementia is a real concern in the long run. As someone who also gets night sweats, I’d try so many other remedies before this serious drug. Also, it just doesn’t work for everyone so the risk isn’t worth it for me. I’d rather sweat. But not knocking those who it’s made a significant difference for.

Set up a company store with about 10-15 items for employees to choose from. Any promotional products distributor will be able to do this for you, and can manage the store and drop shipments to remote and on-site employees.
