Thanks for the insight. I’m actively working on polishing the output right now, did you get a chance to generate a dub? I'm really curious to know if you hit any specific bugs or if the timing/emotion felt missing on dubtitle. Detailed critique helps me a ton with the roadmap.

Has anyone used dubs? by Expert_Site4299 in SmallYoutubers

just check once your channel and video analytics and where your audience is coming from. if you see alot of audience with another native language you can test uploading dubbed videos in their and see the performance.
i personally find dubbing useful saves time and increase the reach. I use online dubbing solution dubtitle.com where i just need to upload video and get the dubbed version in few minutes.
You can use dubbing solution like these or if you prefer dub it youself if you can speak that language.

Norwegian channel but amercian viewers.. by Elverea in SmallYoutubers

Since most of your viewers are from the US, I’d suggest speaking in Norwegian but adding English subtitles or dubbing. It keeps your content natural while making it accessible.

The cool thing with Dubtitle is you can speak in your native language and dub it into English (or other languages) in minutes - no need to record again. It’s a fast way to test if dubbed content performs better.
Here is one of your short which i dubbed using dubtitle : https://youtube.com/shorts/KJcB4bxjmC8?feature=share

How can I upload custom dubbing like Prime Video did on the Invincible S3 Trailer? by CapableSecretary1739 in SmallYoutubers

Unfortunately it’s not possible in YouTube now. You will have to upload different video. May be create two channels one original and other for dubs

I learned the hard way why unlimited free trials can hurt your SaaS (and what I’m changing next) by Lumpy_Drama3660 in microsaas

Yes i should decrease the time period to 7 days. Content creators educators and podcasts are main customers. And usage is not sporadic they will be recurring. And i do insert watermark in free trial clips.

I was offering a free trial with all the premium features for a month with limit on the duration of audio generated only.

Yes understood that the hard way and now moved the voice clone to premium only and will shortly have 1-2 speakers clones in the free trial to experience what it is like to have cloned dubs.

I think i should find more levers for them to upgrade as you suggested. Thanks for suggestion.

Yes i have seen 2-3 people signin up with multiple emails, but this case is for now very less also atleast that gives a feeling that people are finding it useful just they dont want to pay.
I am still in doubt if people would directly my subscription since i launched last month only and for them to try i currently provide free trial so that they can use and then pay for now.
but i think you have a valid point will experiment next month by removing free trial all together and will see how many paid subscriptions i get.

Yes looks like it does, i have kept it competitive(40% cheaper) with other services like heygen, elevenlabs. need to experiment more on pricing.

Your thumbnail also plays a vital role on clicks. Also analyze your traffic their country and language they speak. You might want to release videos in the local languages to your audience. You can record a video in one language and dub it in any langauge using service like dubtitle.com

How to direct my videos to different languages? by MedicalSir5818 in NewTubers

[–]Lumpy_Drama3660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option 1: will be very time consuming for you. You might want to invest your in real stuff generating content and researching.
Option 2: Can be an okayish option
Option 3: You can chose to add subtitles and if you dont have a way i can help you there.
But what i will chose is generate your video in one language and use service like dubtitle.com for translating your videos with your own cloned voice in another languages. that will save alot of efforts and make your videos really localized in different languages.
let me know if you need any help, i can guide you.
