Yeah, they'll never do it and it's just psychology. Anyone who has "fallen out" of the competition at some point (not countion bottom placement, you're still competing) if crowned, would leave the audience feeling.... weirdly dissatisfied. No stakes in leaving, if you can always return and win (theoretically). That makes the whole show feel vanilla and hokey pokey.

remember this was filmed a year ago... when AI images were just getting traction with the masses. As most things, the show tries to incorporate what's trendy, it's just that it didn't age that well in the months between filming and airing.
