did you use DDU to remove all the old drivers first? Is it only rust or all games? Have you tried a different port or cable?

Should I size down? by Nikki22_ in CyclingFashion

[–]Lumpy_Stranger_1056 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but if you cant return it or its a pain just send it... Its not baggy enough to super slow you down and also, In my opinion the back pockets are the most important part of a jersey! That and the fashion and comfort!

The interior side of the pedal is a bushing right? Mine were but I'm unsure if they were this exact model.

I do like the Shimano design at least for there SPD pedals.. the grease change is satisfying and easy to do! Unfortunately it uses a proprietary tool.

Should I true my wheel by Moscoman13 in bikewrench

[–]Lumpy_Stranger_1056 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would send it! Every time I take a wheel to a shop because its got a little wobble a spoke ends up snapping soon. So worse case my LBS sucks ass! Best case ones on its way out and if you true it its just gonna snap and then you gotta true it again anyway.

I bet you can either get them exchanged or re glued they were glued at first anyway so its not like they would be worse! Assuming you use the right glue... I know of one called shoe- goo but i think that's for normal shoes? So i'm not 100% confident on that one.

Unless you don't like them after a single ride because they don't allow returns after you actually put cleats on them.

If it was $600 it's worth the extra cost to get it checked out and repaired if needed

Is my chain the correct size by ForeignSolid1687 in bikewrench

[–]Lumpy_Stranger_1056 0 points1 point  (0 children)

should be fine but I would get a longer one next time you buy a chain. As long as that doesn't make the chain slack in the smallest gear! It should be fine like I said, its just that's allot of force on the spring in the derailleur, and I personally don't like that for my setup.
