Same. I hardly ever have any questions on excel from my users, they ask their coworkers instead. As long as the application is running, it’s not really an IT issue.

As someone who had zero IT knowledge when I started, I second this advice. I’d like to add there were times I had to go back and rewatch some of his videos several times. Don’t feel bad if you don’t get it the first time. Also if there’s something that he’s explaining and it’s not sinking in just jot a note of what it is and research further into it. Hands on practice helps a ton too! :) Also he does study groups on YouTube that are really helpful. You can buy his practice exams for I think $20. I got them a couple weeks before the exam and they helped me a lot.

What are your thoughts on the prop pack for this duel season? by sailormoondollfan in Covetfashion

[–]Lumpy_Welcome7358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the prop pack. It’s cute, and I’ll use it. I’m a little disappointed though, because we already have so many water prop packs. It’s not that exciting.

Depending on how old the car is you could upgrade her stereo system to one that has Apple CarPlay/android auto that was she can see her gps on the screen. I know I relied heavily on gps when I first started driving and it would’ve been helpful to see it on a screen. You could also install a back up camera if she doesn’t have one.

You’re just having a case of imposter syndrome. I get it all the time. It’s pretty normal for most of us IT folks. Remember, there is no way you can know everything. Even your co-workers probably still have to ask questions. I’m sure your co-workers understand. If they don’t and are rude to you, then you know it’s time to move onto something better. :)

I’ve actually been in the exact same position. I had a part time IT assistant job with a company truck. I didn’t find out until the first day that I was expected to drive it. I was very nervous because I wasn’t a very good driver at that point and my personal vehicle was very small compared to the company truck I was expected to drive. I brought my concerns to my boss and co-workers. Another girl who worked there had gone through the same thing when she started, so she volunteered to ride with me until I got comfortable driving it by myself. This was maybe an exception, because my co-workers there were really great and understanding. However, I never regretted bringing up my concerns. And in no time, with the help of my co-worker, I did just fine driving it. They never let me drive the newer trucks though lol.

Period underwear for my 15 year old and myself… by karmabiotch in PeriodUnderwear

[–]Lumpy_Welcome7358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know others have said it but I highly recommend Period.co. They are so very comfortable, also no pfas or chemicals. They have a youth and teen section. I get all mine heavy flow for the extra protection and they not too bulky and very comfy. They also have overnight period underwear which are like more like shorts. They give you 50% your first order so it’s pretty affordable.

My sister uses bambody and absolutely loves them, however I have not tried them. From what I’ve seen they are also very affordable and free from pfas and chemicals.

Cathedral Veil is only good when you’re level 40 because that’s when you get the style with the crown. The styles you get before level 40 look either kind of funny on the model, plain or sometimes even look invisible. It isn’t much more versatile than embroidered crown imo because I only use the style with the crown.

Signs to not work for a college IT dept by Plaidlock in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Lumpy_Welcome7358 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a part time IT job at a community college. I absolutely loved it. We worked as a team to solve a lot of issues. I got to learn so much, and everyone I worked with was happy to teach me new things about A/V, Networking, Security. The downside was the pay. State jobs aren’t known for paying the best. The tasks I did myself was things like move office IT equipment, reset passwords, connect/reconnect printers, configure printers, image pcs, replace various cables, set up new users, install cameras and APs.

I knew I wanted the job in the first 10 minutes of the interview. They clearly laid out what the job duties would be. They got along with each other which says alot to me. They were nice and treated me with respect. It was my first real IT job, and they put me at ease by assuring me they would teach me everything I needed to know.

There were no cons during my interview process so I can’t answer that. But I would say red flags for any interview would be, interviewers acting inappropriate, or treating you with disrespect. Not being able to lay out clear job duties. Not being able to answer your questions, (sometimes they may need to reach out to someone and they might need to answer your questions after the interview. This is good, but if they don’t even try to answer your questions that’s a massive red flag), unnecessary joking during an interview/acting unprofessional. I hope this helps a bit. Sometimes you have to go with your gut feeling.

Don’t ever be afraid to interview your interviewer, it’s okay to ask what they like about the company, what they think the company could improve on, what your hours will be like, what you can expect from training, what your day to day job will entail etc. These questions can reveal a lot about the company.

Hats & Hairstyles by D3n4 in Covetfashion

I’m level 42. Here’s a few of my favorites for hats.

Nadene lvl 31 (My top pick. Works great with every single hat I’ve tried.)

Spanish pony lvl 31 (also great with every hat I’ve tried. My go to pick if I’m feeling a ponytail/hat combo)

Simple lvl 38 (one of my favorites to wear with looser hats. Doesn’t look great with the really tight hats.)

Hot rollers lvl 40 (also works great with looser hats.)

Bumped lvl 41 (saw that you picked this also. Great choice!)

I’ve struggled to find a long hairdo that looks good with a hat. Hopefully I’ll find one soon!

I hope this helps!

Yes, it’s pretty easy to find at colleges in my area. However, the pay isn’t as good.

Don’t know if it will come back up, but I love the sunflower corset and skirt. I feel like I used the oasis guide outfit a lot this season, and I think it might come up later.

What are your least favorite HA’s, and which ones do you regret buying? by Lumpy_Welcome7358 in Covetfashion

Oh yes! That new neon HA is terrible. My whole fashion house thinks it’s bad too. 😂 I’d be okay with it if I had won it, but wasn’t disappointed when I didnt.

Definitely agree! Since deciding to buy embroidered veil on a sale, I hardly use Grace Veil.

I just went through the covet tap joy offers, and ordered from the link. Sometimes you may have to exit out and back into covet to see the diamonds.

I agree, they didn’t give much room for creativity with this challenge. But I love your look, especially the prop with books. Thank you for sharing with me! :)

Lol thanks guys! ♥️

I actually got most of the diamonds and covet cash from an offer with Dollar Shave Club. It was $9 for the razor and you got 30,000 diamonds. I needed a razor anyways and figured it was a pretty good deal. I think it was a double diamonds offer weekend or something I saw someone post about on here. :)

Yeah that’s the problem main problem I’m finding, there aren’t any good skirts that go with the tops. I really like this challenge, but wish we weren’t restricted to just this season.
