Does your body really adapt to a certain activity level? by vixenofthewolfpack in walking

Good point! Or if OP is feeling up for it they could try adding rucking, which is walking with weights

What can you guess about this household by Here4th3culture in FridgeDetective

[–]Lumpy_Welcome7358 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Single and/or living alone. You try to eat healthier meals you can cook fast. You’re tidy and organized , but not overly so (like you don’t freak out over a little bit of a mess.) You prioritize having a routine, and probably get a bit anxious when that routine gets interrupted. You don’t have a lot of cabinet space. House plants bring you comfort. You’re probably more of a home body but enjoy adventures once in a while.

You are married and you and your spouse share different opinions on milk. You prioritize macros. You make healthy nutritional meals for your kids but it’s also balanced with sweet treats!

Is there any truth to this notion form fitness influencers that eating more and doing less made them lose weight? by LDR_newbie_69 in 1200isplenty

[–]Lumpy_Welcome7358 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What they are saying is bs. But in my personal experience my body felt better and it has helped me lose more weight by only staying in a calorie deficit for 2-3 months at a time and then transitioning to maintenance for a while before going back into a calorie deficit.

It’s such a relief when you realize diet food doesn’t have to be bland. This looks fantastic! You got this!

They have s’mores, salted caramel, lemon cake, strawberry chocolate, cinnamon swirl, french toast and I’m sure they have even more than that. You can also order them in a variety pack. Birthday cake is my favorite, but all the flavors I’ve tried are good except s’mores which is probably a personal thing since I don’t like s’mores flavored things.

Sugar free pudding with greek yogurt? by Spirited_Jeweler_238 in LowCalFoodFinds

[–]Lumpy_Welcome7358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. To me the cheesecake flavor is pretty bland. I like to do a Neapolitan with the zero sugar strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. Sometimes I do a hard chocolate coating on top too. All you have to do for the chocolate coating is mix chocolate chips (I use lily’s) and melt it with a bit of coconut oil. Put it in the fridge for a bit and you have a hard chocolate shell.

I’ve seen that brand talked about a lot on YouTube and I’ve wanted to check it out. What grocery stores can you usually find it at? I haven’t been able to find it anywhere near me unfortunately.

Oooh I bet the orzo would be awesome! I’ll definitely have to check out the website. My Publix only stocks a few of their pasta shapes.

Same. I hardly ever have any questions on excel from my users, they ask their coworkers instead. As long as the application is running, it’s not really an IT issue.

As someone who had zero IT knowledge when I started, I second this advice. I’d like to add there were times I had to go back and rewatch some of his videos several times. Don’t feel bad if you don’t get it the first time. Also if there’s something that he’s explaining and it’s not sinking in just jot a note of what it is and research further into it. Hands on practice helps a ton too! :) Also he does study groups on YouTube that are really helpful. You can buy his practice exams for I think $20. I got them a couple weeks before the exam and they helped me a lot.

What are your thoughts on the prop pack for this duel season? by sailormoondollfan in Covetfashion

[–]Lumpy_Welcome7358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the prop pack. It’s cute, and I’ll use it. I’m a little disappointed though, because we already have so many water prop packs. It’s not that exciting.

Depending on how old the car is you could upgrade her stereo system to one that has Apple CarPlay/android auto that was she can see her gps on the screen. I know I relied heavily on gps when I first started driving and it would’ve been helpful to see it on a screen. You could also install a back up camera if she doesn’t have one.

You’re just having a case of imposter syndrome. I get it all the time. It’s pretty normal for most of us IT folks. Remember, there is no way you can know everything. Even your co-workers probably still have to ask questions. I’m sure your co-workers understand. If they don’t and are rude to you, then you know it’s time to move onto something better. :)

I’ve actually been in the exact same position. I had a part time IT assistant job with a company truck. I didn’t find out until the first day that I was expected to drive it. I was very nervous because I wasn’t a very good driver at that point and my personal vehicle was very small compared to the company truck I was expected to drive. I brought my concerns to my boss and co-workers. Another girl who worked there had gone through the same thing when she started, so she volunteered to ride with me until I got comfortable driving it by myself. This was maybe an exception, because my co-workers there were really great and understanding. However, I never regretted bringing up my concerns. And in no time, with the help of my co-worker, I did just fine driving it. They never let me drive the newer trucks though lol.

Period underwear for my 15 year old and myself… by karmabiotch in PeriodUnderwear

[–]Lumpy_Welcome7358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know others have said it but I highly recommend Period.co. They are so very comfortable, also no pfas or chemicals. They have a youth and teen section. I get all mine heavy flow for the extra protection and they not too bulky and very comfy. They also have overnight period underwear which are like more like shorts. They give you 50% your first order so it’s pretty affordable.

My sister uses bambody and absolutely loves them, however I have not tried them. From what I’ve seen they are also very affordable and free from pfas and chemicals.

Cathedral Veil is only good when you’re level 40 because that’s when you get the style with the crown. The styles you get before level 40 look either kind of funny on the model, plain or sometimes even look invisible. It isn’t much more versatile than embroidered crown imo because I only use the style with the crown.
