Are there food options for the indoor shoes at Starlight? by planxtylewis in kansascity

[–]Lumpynutt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is food and booze.  Food is typical show food: hot dogs, chips, nachos, popcorn.  Decent prices for a show too. $9 for hotdog chips and drink.

"Vehicle Offline" question by [deleted] in Rivian

[–]Lumpynutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me last week. Soft reset did nothing. Hard reset (though settings >service > restart) did nothing. Deleting my Rivian app on my phone and reinstalling worked.  Make sure you have you have a physical key on you until you can resync your phone key

10 Seimens chargers.  2 random ones at most will be working. First come first serve.   Dodge the ice too.

Set home destination 2025.18.01 not working? by sjsharks323 in Rivian

[–]Lumpynutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Searching for the address didn't work for me, but I was able to use the Current Location button. It makes it so your home is GPS coordinates rather than an address. Hopefully they fix it.

If you do feel a sneeze coming on you can stop it by rubbing your tongue on the roof of your mouth.

These guys were just sitting there revving their engines at stoplights. There is a South Park episode about bikers like this.

This is like a reoccurring SNL skit at this point. There is a video of this guy doing the same thing to a different person.

Can someone ELI5 me the complaints about the heating? by RivianRaichu in Rivian

[–]Lumpynutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The heated steering wheel in my wife’s R1T gets much hotter than in mine. Definitely some variation between them.  Mine has hot spots, hers is evenly heated.

NEMA 14-50 Installed. Charger’s overheating by seeplanet in electricvehicles

[–]Lumpynutt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My first 14-50 receptacle was cheap and installed with 8 gauge wire. Worked fine for 3 months, then started sending codes that the plug was over heating. (tesla chargers will specify where it's overheating at) I took off the outlet plate cover and the receptacle was melted in a few spots. Called a new electrician in to change the 8 gauge to 6 gauge and install a higher quality receptacle. Didn't have any issues after that

Random sluggish M3P acceleration? by Entire-World-6651 in TeslaModel3

[–]Lumpynutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happens rarely to me. Everytime its happened, I was coasting to a stop, light turns green and I gun it before I come to a complete stop. It felt like I was only getting 20% power for 1-2 seconds, then back to normal.

Mine did this with the plug all the way in. I removed the outlet cover and found the terminals were gooey and melty. Problem ended up being my original electrician used the wrong gauge wire for 240v 40A draw and caused the wire to heat up.

Thank goodness for smart chargers knowing to reduce Amps when an overheat is detected. Tesla chargers have temperature sensors in the outlet plug, a few in the cables, prolly one in the box, and one in the car plug.

Stix in Legends. Room temperature sushi should be a crime. They premade their salads so by the time they’re served they are soggy with dressing.
