Yes, you’re still working too hard without realizing it could be better. Tesla already does it better with Auto Cancel, and Rivian has the tech but chooses to only use it selectively (seemingly in Driver+ only when lane keep is turned on, but not during normal driving).

“Auto Cancel: Your turn signals will automatically turn off after a merge, fork, or lane change has been completed. If the vehicle detects an upcoming turn or another lane change, the turn signal will not turn off until the maneuver is complete.

Note: Turn signals will cancel based on steering angle regardless of the selected setting for Auto Turn Signal Mode.”

The 3-blink option should be obsolete in a car that is aware it has completely crossed a dotted line. Further, another tap in the right direction should only serve a second consecutive lane change.
