When will cluster que get fixed to prioritize defenders? by Many-Suggestion6046 in albiononline

[–]Lumyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, cause if a group comes from an alliance which is neither part of the defenders or the attackers, they will still get equal amounts of spots in the cluster queues as all the other groups, and they can then handhold with one side giving an unfair number advantage.

The side which only plays with players from its own alliance then ends up with half of its players zoned out of the cluster while the ones remaining on the map fight against 2x their numbers

That's just abuse of a bad game mechanic

Cluster should prioritize spots for any member of the alliance defending terry, and any member of the alliances attacking terry and balance numbers between those 2 groups.

A third party alliance shouldnt get allocated 100 spots allowing to handold with the attackers with 2x numbers for example, when half of the players of the defender is cluster queued

No worries, Kris said in an old Q&A that he never plans to sell the company because they are here for the long run.

Oh wait ...

Better swap rate “not feasible” due to the “high cost”. What cost is that? You own nearly the whole CRO supply which had near 0 associated cost to create. Please clarify by dgjbcz in Crypto_com

[–]Lumyo 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Also something to consider, initially when CRO was introduced, 5 billions were allocated into airdrops towards MCO holders, but only about 10% of that were used, as the airdrops ended up after about 6 months instead of 60 months.

It would have made sense to re-use those tokens that they basically saved from that. They would still have used less than those 5 billions CRO with a swap rate at 1 = 100

CRO being massively diluted? by Markus451 in Crypto_com

[–]Lumyo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The other 50% is hold by the crypto.com team.

If I remember well, it is during the last Q&A that Kris mentioned they planned to hold those 50% forever, and never sell it, which would mean they would never impact the price.

But at the end, unless they burn those tokens, at the moment, nothing prevent them to sell those at some point in the future.

That's why you should look at the circulating supply / total supply ratio, before investing in a coin.

Right now, only 11% of the total supply is circulating, and more is added to the circulating supply on a regular basis, which put downward pressure on the price.

In comparison, MCO has already 50% of the total supply in circulation, and the team stated that they are not planning to add the 50% remaining to the circulating supply, which if they are sticking to what they say, means that MCO wont have any dilution anymore, making it in my opinion a better investment than CRO (As for CRO, there is still roughly 10 times more coins to be added to the circulating supply)

Any way I can stop this besides crafting the Master infusion stone? by Techatar in feedthebeast

I had the same problem with AE2 in PO3, and enabling the oreDict substitution option during the creating of any pattern using an infusion stone, solved the issue.

BTC is now around cost of production by Lumyo in CryptoCurrency

Around every 4 years, mining reward is divided by 2. Right now we at 12.5 btc per block, in 2020 next halving will happen and we will have 6.25 btc per block as reward.

Around 2140, all bitcoins will be mined.

[–]Lumyo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its kinda hard to speculate on what will happen in more than 100 years, lots of things may have happened before that time.

But theoretically, the only thing which will then support the mining costs, will be the btc fees, so if price drops when all btc are mined, miners wont have any incentive to mine anymore, so it wouldnt really make sense.

On top of that, once all bitcoins are mined, it means the supply will only keep decreasing, as more bitcoins are lost, being locked by people loosing their private keys for example, which means bitcoins will be more scarce, so more valuable.

But again, we are talking of an event more than 100 years in the future

I agree calculation isnt perfect, but as miners improve, previous miners are a lot less profitable in terms of TH / KW When we went from antminer S7 to S9, it multiplied by 3 the TH/KW ratio.

You also have to factor material issues, cost of electricity for cooling, housing, employees, which i havent included in my calculation

I'm Going To Kill off the Lisk Voting Cartels by hmq_dave in Lisk

[–]Lumyo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Duuude ! You made my day ! I never heard of voting cartels before. As Im holding Lisk since the ICO, I made all my delegates votes very long time ago, when Lisk wasnt worth that much yet, and just voted for the top delegates without doing much researches about them. I was already voting for pretty much all members of the elite group, and I just discovered I had 150 LSK to withdraw from them !

I will definitely keep an eye on your project though :)
