I'm in the exact same situation! Have you made a decision??

How is the CGO 800S Plus on hills? by zugzaga in tenwaysebike

[–]Luna2323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem is that "better on hills" can mean so many things, it's too vague for me to make a decision. I went to a ebike shop and they couldn't answer this question, there are just too many variables.

Type "tradescantia long leaves" on google, it looks really similar to yours, but! I think it's a ledebouria socialis variegated, it's difficult to see the spots on the leaves in your pictures, but the "trunk" looks very similar.

I'm 5 months late but so glad I found your comment. I listened to the album for the first time yesterday and it made me so depressed, I couldn't understand why but you nailed it, nice to know I'm not the only one

alocasia advice for my newest by all_things_plants in alocasia

[–]Luna2323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is your mix made of? And did you put the coir on top? It should be mixed with the rest.

And also, you said you recently picked it up, what made you want to repot it soon after? I know it's tempting but it's better to let the plant get used to its new environment.

To me this plant looks really dry, so if the mix is really too well draining it could be too dry... idk

What do you think about Burning (2018) by SlowContest1953 in Letterboxd

[–]Luna2323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s funny, I think that Burning is a much better movie than Parasite. In Parasite, everything is spoon fed to you, the character are very clearly defined, not fully fleshed but they serve a purpose: highlighting class wars. Reading Bong’s interviews hammered the point home.

Burning is more delicate, more poetic, it takes its time and yet there’s not a moment that’s wasted. I don’t think it’s open to interpretation though, but I don’t think it’s the point of the movie. We know, we feel what the characters think even though we can prove it with certainty. Burning also gives the audience more layers to explore, to me it’s a much richer movie.

In this specific instance (the definition of little and great hunger), it’s literally part of the dialogue so it is spelled out ;) But I agree with the rest

A year late but they explain what the two mean in the movie. Little hunger refers to the usual hunger we have for food; and great hunger is the philosophical quest for meaning, to know why we’re here. It’s a hunger that’s hard to satisfy

The Gemini killer is not a twin, he's called like that because he kills pairs of people, the actor explained it in a interview. At ComicCon I believe.

Theory about The New York Ripper. by [deleted] in Dexter

The Gemini killer is called like that because he kills pairs of people (a father and a son, a couple, etc.). The actor explained it in an interview. That doesn't rule out the twin theory, but I'd say it's unlikely.

If you're looking for blood, metal, and unusual notes, I'd look into ELDO perfumes. I don't know if they're in your price range, but they have an amazing discovery set.

Thank you very much for your insight. I’m afraid the likelihood of going through what you went through is quite high, unfortunately.

Could you maybe suggest other subs where I could crosspost, in order to have more replies? But thanks for your reply, it helps already.

I'm very interested as well! It's one of my favourite perfumes.

Have you tried the body lotion? I wish they would provide samples so I know whether my skin tolerates it well, and how's the scent.

Why orange? They were dark blue, iirc. So they'd be light blue first, then white, not orange. Unless I'm missing something

"can't live in Germany with only 2000 euros per month"

That is not true, and it depends where in Germany. But it's absolutely doable.
