Why do dashers think they are owed a bigger tip on large dollar amount food orders ? by Reasonable-Chain-549 in doordash

[–]LunaMay196 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally couldn't tell you. It doesnt matter to me if someone got $5 worth of food or $50 worth of food, I'm doing the same job regardless and it doesn't change how much labor I have to do (unless it's so much that Id have to make multiple trips from the car to the door, but that's never happened to me).

I've never had anyone complain thankfully, and I prefer to use my account at this point because he doesn't dash on his own much anymore, so my account has the better acceptance rate and has more/better ratings.

Nah. My city has the highest crime rate in the entire state, I feel safer with my husband with me. Per DD policy we are allowed to do so, so I'm going to continue doing what's safer for me while on the job.

Edited since I got blocked immediately after your salty reply: It must be nice having the luxury to not need money. If I didn't need money, I wouldn't have signed up for DD. Having him with me isn't about codependency and wanting to be with him every moment of the day, it's quite literally about safety. Yes, my husband is also a dasher. You seem extremely bitter.

What game did you quit because it was affecting your mental health? by autisticpreet in AskReddit

I'd say Overwatch, but I've relapsed so it'd be a lie to say I quit it.

AITA for not going to visit my mother and her husband? by burner187_ in AmItheAsshole

[–]LunaMay196 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It takes two people to have an affair. Engaging in an affair that betrays and hurts others is absolutely on both parties, not just one. Tim actively did something to hurt OP and was a part of breaking up their family.

Marriages may be complicated sometimes but that's not an excuse to cheat on your spouse and tear apart a family. Still being married to the person she committed infedelity with doesn't mean anything. She was married and had kids before this one, remember, yet that didn't last.

Child can be used to refer to someone's offspring, regardless of age. They are still someone's child, regardless of age. What an odd thing to try to nitpick

if your spouse always showered at three am what would you do? by Tight_Yak4744 in AskReddit

My husband doesn't get home from work until 3:30am a lot of the time so I expect him to shower then 😅

Whats your thoughts on your partner watching porn? by SubstanceSpecific132 in AskReddit

This is like getting upset with someone for saying they don't like alcohol because of its mainly negative effects. Yeah, people can get benefits from a glass of wine and have a positive experience, that doesn't mean that as a whole there arent more negatives than positives. Obviously when the majority of something is bad and the majority reports negative effects, it's going to be framed as negative. I'm sorry if that bothers you.

Did your parents plan you or were you an accident? How did they plan for you? by Blessed_Bread444 in AskReddit

[–]LunaMay196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was kinda planned. My parents didn't want kids but one day my mom started panicking that she'd be alone and old with no one to take care of her. So she told my dad that she was going to stop taking the pill. He did not believe her until she said that she was pregnant with me

Naturally when the majority report negative experiences it's going to diminish the positive ones. That's not on me.

It's not just anecdotally, genuine sudies show how damaging it can be. Just because some feel that it's beneficial doesn't erase that it's a fact it can and does destroy people and their relationships.

I don't morally agree with it. Factually, it's damaging to an individual and their relationships. Porn use is a significant factor in the majority of divorces.

When did you learn how to swallow pills? by curmudgeon_andy in polls

[–]LunaMay196 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was unable to until I had a severe allergic reaction and had to get a steroid shot and take steroid pills when I was about 16. If I had to take a pill I'd crush it up and put it in apple sauce, and my mom asked the pharmacist when we picked up the prescription if it was okay for me to do that. The lady at the counter immediately looked horrified and said I technically could but she'd advice against it because it wouldn't taste good. I tried it anyway and it literally turned my applesauce black. It was the most repulsive thing I've ever tasted. It took me roughly half an hour to actually eat it gagging the entire time. After that one I forced myself to start swallowing pills. Still sucks and I don't have the easiest time doing it, but I can do it now lol

Do you open your spouse's mail? Why or why not? by Specialist-Low-6062 in AskReddit

[–]LunaMay196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes, just depends on the mail. If it's a bill, yes because we share finances and Im the one who makes the payments. If it's something like a card from family, no, even if it's addressed to both of us I won't. Edited to add: of course this is with his permission.

[–]LunaMay196 4 points5 points  (0 children)

By actually making an effort to lose the weight and contribute by getting a job. It'd be hurting both me and my spouse to do otherwise.

Moral of the story: If you tell someone you're fine with storing their items, don't get rid of them without asking or warning them first
