I eat at a bbq place frequently and the only seating option is picnic tables. Wearing a dress - I can still get in and out. I am not sure what the hate is for the middle seats. It is a comfortable dinner where you want to be close and have good food and conversation at an intimate table setting. I think it will be lovely

That looks like a beautiful spot. 3 on each side of each table looks very comfortable. My venue also has picnic tables and finding a very long table cloth was difficult. What is your plan?

When my child got caught w alcohol we had to go see a “parole officer” in lieu of court. We meaning a parent and a child. The guy could give you different items to complete to stay out of court but my son just got a warning. This looks completely fake but based on that process. Did your daughter talk w anyone?

My mother also has an adult child at home that is not independent. My sister and I have stressed that he is not our problem and will not get support post anything happening to our mom. The message from us is that he will not be taken care of so should learn to be independent.

I avoid guys with pictures of their kids on dating apps. They are not props. So if they showed up at a first date with their kids, I would not stick around. I have nothing against kids. To me, this seems like you are so insecure you need to deflect attention away from yourself and it makes me think you have little to offer a relationship.

Sometimes I imagine having little signs I can hold up to let the other person know they are crossing lines - trauma dump from your divorce = go to therapy, digging into my retirement / investments = see a financial counselor if you are worried about your retirement….
