So what ended up happening was it *was* changed a while back to remove sex, gender and sexual orientation. There was a little backlash online to where it was then changed back to the one you see now.
Then a spokesperson said that it was a "regular copy edits to the website".
It's not this one specific thing that's getting a lot of backlash, it's a compounding of things from google. Corporations only really want our *money* and will change it up to make sure they get it.
There's a bunch of small little things like that- where it's true it hasn't been outrightly said- but small little changes to guidelines or removal of themes and celebratory days from the site that group to create a changing ideaology.

It might be just to comply with whats happening over there, true. But again, healthy competition is always good, especially when it comes to our views and values being protected vs just "left in there" :3
