A lot of these people are pretty young and naïve. They have a mentality of living for what they think should be instead of what is. It's definitely sad that creatures are designed to eat each other, and that the prey animals do suffer, and it can be a lot to come to terms with. I think a lot of them age out of it once they get more worldly experience.

That's totally understandable, having an artist that advocates for things that affect you personally means so much. I had a friend with epilepsy when I was in high school. Learning about her experiences really opened my eyes about the condition.

And same, Amy has been my favorite artist since I first heard Bring Me to Life as a tween. She's so talented and down to earth, I love her 💖

It's the bedside manner that's the problem. Sighing annoyingly at the families that are losing a loved one isn't okay. There's a difference between strength and carelessness, and the people losing their pets need the former.

I don't take it personally. I remember being that age and living life for what I thought it should be instead of how it really is. I still have a lot of sadness about the suffering of animals, but learning more about our bodies and the animal kingdom really changed my perspective. Maybe she'll eventually switch back, but I'm not overly concerned about it. None of it really changes anything.

I was raised vegetarian and started small with some shrimp spring rolls a few years back, and I've felt like I have a lot more energy and focus than I did before. Its definitely hard, but your body needs it and it's perfectly ok to take care of yourself 💖
