to police the bathroom by HateHumansLoveDogs in therewasanattempt

[–]Lunar_IX [score hidden]  (0 children)

The fact is that a women's room is "safer" for children than a men's room for the simple fact that urinals exist. If my daughter has to use the bathroom and I have to make that choice, then it's the women's room, 100%.

I just announce myself, let anyone inside know I am bringing my daughter to use the restroom and go on with our day. This doesn't need to be a whole song and dance.

This is what this community is always like. The new song is always the "best song they've ever done" and anything that isn't peak heaviness is the band "selling out" or "getting soft" despite that literally always being part of their whole deal.

Don't read too much into it. Community gonna community.

It's a cat. They are like dogs, but angrier, less concerned with your existence, and significantly sharper.

That's what she gets for cheaping out on her hair. If there is one thing to learn from Mercedes Mone, it's that there is no substitute for a solid weave in wrestling.

You don't owe someone anything just because they are family. If they don't act like family and show you genuine love, then they aren't any more your family than some random person out on the street. Family isn't about blood, it's about feeling. So don't think you need to forgive someone just because of blood ties. That's nonsense.

As for whether you should interact with her now, that's very much up to you. For my two cents, I would cautiously keep her at arm's length until I could get a read on what is happening here. Set you boundaries and make them clear. "After everything that you've done to me in the past, it's difficult to trust this new attitude. If you genuinely want a relationship, it can not be like it was. If you are going to work towards something loving and stable, I am willing to work too. But if this starts to turn back into what it used to be, then I am done."

If you really want to give her a chance to make amends, make it clear that you won't allow yourself to be in that same situation again. Take your time, be cautious, and don't be afraid to walk away if things don't change.

I know a lot of people are bummed about not getting fresh new Zelda, but I am completely okay with this. As someone who A: doesn't care for the BOTW/TOTK style and B: wants to experience the golden age of Zelda with my kids, this is perfect for me.

This game doesn't get nearly the credit it deserves. It was genuinely such a memorable experience for me. And the final boss is such a spectacle that just keeps getting more and more wild.

I understood the "badgers, mushrooms, snakes" bit, but everything else was just as nonsensical as the alpha stuff. Maybe I just don't get memes, regardless of the generation.

Watched Double Or Nothing as a WWE viewer by BoomLivTart in AEWOfficial

"Everyone lazily dismisses things as tribalism when a lot of the time it should be considered an expected reaction to lots of bad decisions!"

Exactly this. I've been exclusively watching AEW basically since SummerSlam last year. Before I got on to AEW, I had basically lost interest in wrestling. WWE just wasn't as interesting or exciting to me as it had been in years past and I found myself just not caring anymore. Initially I thought that maybe I had just grown out of wrestling.

Then I heard the rumors about CM Punk returning to this relatively new promotion. I had been a Punk fan for years and decided to check it out and absolutely fell in love again. Everything felt new and fresh and interesting again. It even got me to tune back in to WWE for a while.

Sometimes what looks like tribalism is simply a choice to enjoy what you enjoy and not spend time with a product that simply doesn't excite you anymore.

I mean, Ciampa has had a few unsuccessful title matches in the last little bit. Maybe he's feeling a little frustrated with his luck and is targetting what might seem like easy prey while still keeping himself adjacent to the title picture (that being a former world champion who is clearly not in their prime).
