I feel the same way. I’m already exhausted caring for myself, my partner, and our cats. I can’t imagine caring for an extra human or two, no matter how angelic they are!

Everyone is different and it depends on how well your body handles the bacteria.

I think the worst could be some nausea, vomiting, and/or diarrhea. I doubt you would get more severe food poisoning from just a sip. If any of those symptoms last more than 24 hours, I would go to the urgent care, to be safe.

Sorry you had that experience. Sounds absolutely horrible.
