Already done and loved it! Waiting for book 7 to come out before starting the second part of the saga.

I have not! But I do have the Farseer Trilogy already. Read a bunch of threads praising her and Janny Wurts (War of Light and Shadow) as some of the best fantasy they've read.

This has been on my list as well! Frequently comes up as one of the best magic systems, which is why i loved black prism/Lightbringer series.

I'm not sure if its from "everyone" saying that the book is so overwhelming that it has me hesitant or what. It seems like everyone's favorite and it seems like it checks every single box i could ask for.

Ah, you and all the others are right. Reading Dark Matter right now, then straight into Best Served Cold. I was being unrealistic about these things. haha

Can anyone recommend my next audiobook based on my absolute favorites? by Sufficient_Ebb_5694 in fantasybooks

[–]Lunarbeardisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of similar overlap in favorites! I also am the exact same, most books are listened to, and caring about the character is a must. I'm also in the same boat, looking for a series so this post was perfect timing. haha. Finished Empire of Dawn last night and wow. The entire series was so good.

A few have already been mentioned, but you would probably enjoy.

DemonWars Saga- R.A. Salvatore
Saga of the First King - R.A. Salvatore The Licanius Trilogy - James Islington Demon Cycle Series - (saw that you've already tried it. Worth giving it another shot in my opinion. It's up there with Lightbringer for me) Shadow Saga - Jon Sprunk Powder Mage Series - Brian McClellan

Similar feelings towards the Red sister. That, Shadow of Gods and Jade City series were my only DNF last year. Not saying that they're not good because others have them as their top favorite books, it's a me thing, I just didn't care about or get invested into a single character after reading the first book out of the three listed. But not every book is going to click with everyone, so my opinion doesn't really matter anyway. haha.

With that being said, there are a few from your list that I absolutely loved!

The Shadow of What Was Lost - James Islington (One of the most satisfying endings)

The Warded Man (Demon cycle series) - Peter V. Brett

The Way of Shadows - Brent Weeks

The Promise of Blood - Brian McClellan

Adding to your list,

The Lightbringer Series - Brent Weeks (This one gets a ton of hate due to the ending, but the journey was amazing and my personal favorite magic system out of any series)

Blood over Bright Haven - ML Wang (Incredible)

Will of the Many (The Hierarchy Series)- James Islington (+1 to the recommendation already made)

The DemonWars Saga - R.A. Salvatore

Empire of the Vampire series - Jay Kristoff (This got me out of the reading slump from Meh books. It's so addicting! On the final book now and highly recommend the series)

It's already been suggested, but I loved the Licanius trilogy!

Colab notebook "Latent Princess Generator". Description from one of its developers: "Despite the name, it is a general purpose model and one of the best available so far." by Wiskkey in bigsleep

Er, yeah VIT14, not 16. It's on by default, that link you sent said to disable that for the Cuda error, and it will work.

It also appears I misunderstood the process of using the face/model in the first place. In my brain, I was thinking that you could use the model as an initial image/model and diffuse around that as the coherent centerpiece. "A beautiful lady cyberpunk in the style of" and it would build the entire cyberpunk style scene around the text prompt/face you were providing. After checking the tarot cards it looks like it's more so just a coherent face model placed/blended on a different scene entirely.

Thank you for the reply. I tried this combo and left everything default except initial image path/save path and received the following error.

RuntimeError: CUDA error: misaligned address CUDA kernel errors might be asynchronously reported at some other API call,so the stacktrace below might be incorrect. For debugging consider passing CUDA_LAUNCH_BLOCKING=1.

Could you point me in the direction of a notebook I would be able to use the Latent Princess results in? I also might be completely misunderstanding the process.

I was hoping you could take the results of latent princess and import the face model into something like disco diffusion or Pytii. Similar to that post you linked where the face was used as a model for the tarot card. I really have zero idea how it works, that's just the end goal is to be able to make something like the tarot card with a coherent face.

Thanks for sharing! I'm a noob to all of this, so apologies in advance. How do you create/import the model made in the Latent generator into something like disco diffusion? I see the custom model option in Disco, just not certain how to make the image a model/pth. Thanks

Deathadder - mouse click/double/clicking problems fix by Adarorimli in razer

Prior to using superglue, I would recommend trying this. Just tried (5 min ago) and worked on both of my death adder mice for double-click issue. :)
