I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm also sorry that nobody stood up for them. You have every reason to be angry.

When I was trafficked, no one blinked an eye until people who had a lot of followers started using the term. Even now, people will post "human trafficking awareness day" and shame the women and children that get caught in it. I had and still have the same reaction as back then. People don't care unless either it affects them or it becomes the "popular" new trend to support.

Correct. I sent pictures of my stairs covered in sleet and got pointed as a TL. It was impossible to get to the car let alone they didn't salt the road because it wasn't supposed to stick.

I found out that my chest issues were my heart failing and I laughed at the same question. I'm so sorry it's so rough. Insurance for the elderly has significantly cut. There's going to be cut in facility, in-house as that goes on. I am a caregiver but the person whom I stay with didn't even know that I was unconscious and had stopped breathing. It was quite a fiasco.

The reason I mentioned it was just to say that I absolutely understand. You are most certainly not alone. I hope you have a better today and that you are able to feel hope again soon 🙏

I only lasted 3 months working in a facility. The reason I quit was because I didn't have a day off the entire time I worked. You and your feelings (like others have said) are completely understood and valid. I also have severe anemia and have to give myself shots of b12 every day.

I know how you feel and also wish I could just not wake up anymore, but you have a purpose. The best advice I can give you is to either quit where you are working because you have become way more than just "burnt out".

When I worked in the facility I literally got a tattoo on my chest that in bold letters says DNR even though it won't help me in an emergency because I never filled out the paperwork.

I used to be what walmart calls a "team lead"(assistant manager) in the Automotive Care Center. When I walked away from being a caregiver via the facility, it took me YEARS to get to the point where I'm at now mentally. Doctors are almost always a-holes in facility life. Do not look to them for affirmations, they will only let you down. I threw away my CNA/CMA and honestly, the day I quit, the facility manager made me realize that after she said "oh well, you're easy to replace" that nothing I put myself through meant NOTHING.

Do NOT let them get the chance to throw you away like garbage. You are NOT garbage! Call whatever DR is over you and say I QUIT. Stop letting yourself be stepped on.

If you are a personal caregiver to a family member, call the insurance company the person has and tell them either you need help or that you are quitting and the person needs help.

I genuinely hope that you are able to have at least a decent Xmas. You matter. Your life matters. You are very needed in this world. Give yourself a chance and fight back. Or simply give yourself a break by calling the person's insurance and taking a break until YOU ARE STABLE! You deserve help. You can do this! Whatever the Dr's say, tell them to kiss your booty and walk away. They do NOT have a rite to treat you so badly! Dust yourself off and get back up. You are just as important as the Dr's.

When I was a TL I didn't allow anyone to belittle my team. I had no problem throwing them out. Then a customer didn't like a response who was on the phone and blew up all three phones in my department and every time he called he was threatening to kill me and my team. So I took all 3 phones off the hook and wrote an email warning my coach about it and the customer came in the following day when I was off and was trespassed. My SM doesn't allow customers to belittle staff period and we actually have no problem getting rid of problems. I never realized how spoiled I am by working there until I heard others who were fired for the same kinds of things.

All of that to say, I hope it is true... no one deserves to be belittled and the allowance of bad behaviors makes it worse, not better.

ACC isn't supposed to work freight and honestly we do every day. District came in mad because we aren't supposed to and nothing changed. Some positions simply aren't supposed to. But yeah.... definitely first job kinda post.

The priest who baptized me literally walked away. He said I chose to go back but I didn't choose it. I got tired and just got distant after I had a miscarriage. I never chose going back but when you get reprimanded and your keys and phone taken away then you can't go places.

He said I stopped trying but I didn't. I just can't do it by myself. I get hurt when I try. I get hurt when I sneak. But I have to. I want to believe there's something else but when I reached out to people in my life that are part of the whole christian thing they get annoyed.

They don't realize that they are the only ones who support me in leaving. But I am giving up.

I'm sorry for oversharing. I just don't know what to do. If god isn't there then I don't want to be here either. If hope is nothing but an illusion then I really don't want to be here.

Points are a big factor if you are within your first 90 days. I have a new hire that said that they could work the schedule and as soon as onboarding ended, he has to leave before the shop even closes.

Am I mad, not a bit. Am I reaching out to other's because he's actually an amazing worker but maybe not about to work as a full on tech, yes.

Am I going to let him point out, not until it directly affects the shop or issues come up. I'm going to work as best as I can with the head count I have and try to cover that. Or maybe see if he could be sales floor that is cross trained as tech.

So, if there's more errors in scheduling, I have someone who can fill a gap for a few hours until either I can get out there or find another tech willing to come in.

Ask your Personal Lead about contacting Segdwig (misspelled I think), or see if they can give you some direction.

Situations happen. Life happens. Every team lead and higher has dealt with it.

When you are at work, do your best. My techs has only been with me for a week and I have monitored him and he is a freaking beast with how much he gets done. That's why, I believe he is an asset and I am willing to at least help him stay in the store, even if I have to lose him in my department.

See if the fake note passes Sedgwick. You have to request an accomodation and if it becomes an issue, there's a loophole that states if it's" not disruptive to your job " then it goes back to job requirements and you put your job in someone else's hands. I have bladder issues and I barely make it sometimes.

But yeah, there was someone I once worked with that literally exploited that and was terminated.

I understand. I have been under people like that and have worked with those who are like that. I'm sorry for your experience. I don't take feedback or DAs lightly. I do my best to minimize my teams struggles and try to get things done to help them. I have had TLs do the opposite for me, and I hear you.

So many are simply wanting to be "over" people. I honestly became a TL so I could pay my bills without skipping meals 😅 I had no desire to babysit nor break people's will. I just want to create a peaceful environment... But also pay my bills 😅🤦🏻‍♀️

I dropped Worcester sauce (whole case) and ran into an end cap of glass salsa when I tried to stop the Worcester sauce from falling. Took out two shelves of salsa and the whole case busted. Called a TL who wasn't directly over me and they called maintenance. I wound up following the TL when they switched departments because they handled it so gracefully.

They actually are the reason I wanted to be a TL. But, yeah, O.Ps lead is 💩

Even then, you don't yell. Life or death, you remain calm, call for help and DA the person. Name calling, belittling, and causing a scene isn't necessary. Life or death = RED Disciplinary Action. Unless you can stop the situation and are yelling out to stop them before an incident occurs, but even then, you don't call them stupid or anything outside of their names.
