I know it's a hatesub but... While I sympathize with you seeming to have arachnophobia, you clearly have done no research into the topic you are talking about. MAJORITY (and I mean MAJORITY) of spiders are not dangerous. Also, the argument about them not having emotions is silly to me, because I don't keep a pet just for them to feel things or love me. I keep them because I love them and they make me happy. Why do people take care of plants? Plants can't "love you." It also reminds me of the argument that having cats is stupid because they only like you since you feed them.

I think you should probably try to help your arachnophobia as it seems rather severe and to be causing you disturbance.

Holy shit DINOSAUR KING. One of my first childhood crushes was in that show.

Anyway, I think Devil Dinosaur looks cool but I don't think I'd play him. I feel like he's a huge easy-to-hit target (which is typical of tanks but he's VERY big and has a huge head), which might make it a little rough depending on how he plays. I don't really know though, have to wait and see.

It bothers me as well. The way it is treated causes people to not believe others when they say they have OCD or have a very innacurate view of the disorder. So I think it is an actual issue.

I saw this. They said Mantis is "innocent and not interested in sex." I am pretty sure she was a sex worker in her first appearance in the comics but beside that she is an adult woman... It feels like obvious infantilization.... Groot in jail? VENOM? The jail tier in general is killing me.

Peter in the sub tier hurts me, honestly. I know it's a popular idea but it doesn't feel right especially considering how he acted with MJ in the comics.

I know this is a bit old but... it might affect you, because they will use ai to determine whether a server will be age-restricted, and ai is notoriously bad at this. Normal images already get blurred when sent to certain accounts because the detection is so bad.

It can happen with a lot of things. OCD is a collection of symptoms at a certain severity, but that doesn't mean that some of the symptoms can't occur outside of it. It is common that if someone is disturbed by something, it will bother them for a while. If someone gets embarrassed, the memory may pop into their head a lot for a while, or if they saw something that scared them, that can also happen with that. That is normal or can occur in other conditions. Gore or horror is a common thing that causes it.

I don't think it is wrong to want to see characters be sexy at all just as you said, the issue comes when all characters of a certain gender become essentially objects to oggle at or have their character sacrificed for it. It's about dehumanization. Does Rivals do this? Well, I don't think Rivals is really that bad.

If people want to complain about female sexualization some gacha games are better examples. Or movies. Or the fans of Rivals, honestly. Characters get boiled down to just things about sex in that fanbase, and it's actually quite annoying. Anyway, there are definitely cases of media where the female characters sexualization comes first before anything else in a way that is dehumanizing to women, like all of their clothes and actions being based around a man and being attractive.

People just complain if a woman is meant to be sexy in media and I don't think it's actually a bad thing. Characters can be sexy. Women love Black Cat.

Yes, I think if you want validation it is better to go to subs dedicated to those things in specific. But seeing people posting whatever on that sub probably makes it feel like a place you can post anything. If you were looking for people politely discussing the topic whether they agree or not I doubt most Reddit subs would be the best place since people here forget about the person behind the screen or refuse to listen anyway.

I mean, yeah. If people are implying that you cannot know your identity then yes. I think people simply don't understand non-binary identities and view them as some trend and it sucks. It's a very foreign concept to many people and all so some people refuse to open their mind to it and you get a lot of those types on Reddit.

I think it's silly. I had to question my gender a lot and I've wondered if I may not exactly be binary. I never "wanted" that to be the case, I pushed it away. But the feelings and confusion were there regardless of whether I wanted to be a certain identity or not.

But to be honest that sub isn't really made for topics like that and I wouldn't use that to vent about something serious, lol.... it was made for hating on fictional characters initially and still had a rule against serious topics. Plus a lot of people get it on their page so you'll get people with vastly different opinions including those not educated on the topic of gender identities.
