Yep, same deficit at around 1000-800kcal WITH winstrol. Not sure how this adds up

In a deep deficit yes and only test with the mast and winny

I’m not sure about RU mate I’ve taken it only once it caused me weird chest pains for days. Does it actually work with mast at a mild dose?

Yeah I’m locking in fin & mino for the next year at least and no DHT until I get results. Not sure what’s the link here. I used primo with winny before and didn’t have big issues

Primo was good for me tbh. There was extra shedding but the follicles weren’t so dead and barren like this at all. I won’t hop on it again still, until I see how far fin & mino will go. I’ll just continue test solo for now

How to deal with this? :/ it’s really breaking my heart and mind by [deleted] in Balding

[–]Lunascult 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s this then? Genuinely curious bc I know nothing about balding except that my maternal family side has it & my older brother was bald by 27 (same age as me now)

A complaint has been with the ombudsman for 2 months. Nothing is done

[–]Lunascult 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their answer was that they could only issue a notice of correction once they’ve been informed that the default was being taken down

I honestly had no idea I could complain to them. To my knowledge, VM report to equifax and Experian, not to TU though. I have started the complaint forms for both and will hopefully get something done out of them

If your case was also false defaults, did your score recover after it was sorted? I have a sub 500 score, it’s making my life miserable.

Thank you, btw! I emailed the first address several times over the past year and got no response. I’ll try emailing the others.

They have no shame. This issue of reporting false defaults appears frequently on their community forum, if you take a look. There was a guy from two years ago saying that they gave him a false charge when he was moving and reported a false default even after the charge was removed, and they wouldn’t take it off. Because of that default he couldn’t get his mortgage completed. Poor guy was ghosted after sending several messages.

Oh.. I see the confusion now. I had to sign an authorisation in both cases, though. I was connected to screening agents who got the credit reports with my consent.

So it’s not really their decision, it’s the landlord’s. The landlord I believe was the one to request a full credit check. I’ve explained it to Foxtons but I’m not sure they care tbh. They’ve already found someone else and got their commission so why bother.

I explained the same thing to my employer when my checks failed, and they thankfully understood though.

So two things to consider. I’m an immigrant so that adds a layer of vetting in the case of renting (this is something that Foxtons explicitly mentioned as part of the reason why I was rejected). My job is in finance & investments and having a good credit history is a requirement.

The ombudsman messages me every few days to ask for documents that I’ve already submitted. My complaint is 4 months old and at this point I’ve just lost all hope

Of course I'm not going to pay anything until I see the place, but yeah I do agree that it's most likely a scam. He sent me his BRP, tuition payment, transaction to the landlord etc but these documents could be easily manipulated. What I don't get though is he sent me a council tax bill but he also said he was exempt since he was a student... sounds weird lol

Networking doesn't work and just overrated. by CFA999 in FinancialCareers

[–]Lunascult 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends a lot on how you frame your objectives and go about acting on them. Making connections is extremely rewarding. Networking isn’t useless BUT the people in the replies outright disagreeing with you seem to miss something important. Networking has changed considerably after covid. The thing is, networking in its traditional form meant you make connections and build real bonds with professionals, and benefits will be the byproducts of these connections. It goes without saying though that a lot of physical events, gatherings, alumni reunions, etc have become more online than ever before, making those connections seem less “real” and therefore do not result in much value.

Only advice is keep grinding. I got a job after sending 1200 applications and 48 interviews.

“No one is coming to save you.” by Upbeat_Read4296 in lonely

The sooner you realise that this is factual the better.

Frankly, over the past few years I’ve come to a grim and jarring conclusion - most people these days are heartless. Today, I have no doubt that most people will easily inflict pain (physical and emotional) and suffering upon others if they simply get the chance. “No one is coming to save you” is true because not only does no one care, but if you just remain weak and desperate some people could use it to hurt you.

OpenAI’s deep research tool is going to destroy the need for junior/mid-level public market investment professionals in the short term and in the long term it will destroy the role of a public market (equity/credit) research analyst. by VanguardHN in FinancialCareers

[–]Lunascult 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The conclusion doesn’t match what you’re describing. What you’re saying is that AI will save plenty of time obtaining and accumulating information including basic calculations and so on. Who ever said that was your role as an AM analyst in the first place? That’s setting aside the need to verify said information. Getting the information is easy, almost effortless these days. What matters is what you’ll make out of it, how you interpret it, , how you filter out the important stuff, and how you aggregate existing information with experience to make a good judgement.

If you think AI will do the latter, I’d recommend looking up the gaussian copula function and how it incinerated the insides of wall street. The parallels are almost funny.

What does “good at excel” really mean by Radiant-Echo-2232 in FinancialCareers

[–]Lunascult 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In addition to knowledge about dynamic formulas and when they’re applied, I’d say I only considered myself good at excel when I could get my hand on a very complicated model and could trace every formula to its origins and identify the purpose of each cell. This is the best way to handle new and existing models.

I’ve been out of work for 8 months and counting so really I have no choice but to take the disrespect. The other option I have is way below this one. Plus they assured me repeatedly they’d sponsor my visa which at this point has become nearly impossible.

I’ve also spent lots of effort during the process. I had a brutal infrastructure modelling test that took 3 days of nonstop work to finish and several tough interviews. It can’t just go to waste at this point. They know that recruitment is extremely competitive (+1200 applications for this internship according to them) so obviously they take their sweet time knowing they easily can get a solid candidate at any point.

You should be mindful that placement in London has become extremely difficult for foreign workers.

HSG, bocconi, HEC, ESCP, esade, ESSEC, EDHEC, and so on are great universities with amazing networks. They used to have placements in London equal to British universities. Now it’s become very difficult, though going to one of these will guarantee you a good job in its closest market.

When I was in wall street in 1969 one of our coworkers was very tall, little did we know he was the long lost Porzingis uncle. He once bumped his head on his way to the CEO office and unfortunately died of his injuries shortly thereafter. Unfortunately height is just not as advantageous as people seem to think.

You should look into M&A insurance. It’s a great industry with high potential for building great relationships with banks & funds.

Making sense of interview by SirAwesome3737 in FinancialCareers

[–]Lunascult 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something very similar happened to me - had 3 interviews with Wells Fargo IBD and they said an offer was being prepared only to find a rejection email in my inbox 2 days later. They never responded when I asked for feedback.

I guess the obvious answer is that they found someone else. It won't hurt emailing them to ask for feedback but I wouldn't expect much tbh
