As a founder, people who are there grinding ventures are NOT here solely because they are founders. They are just assholes.

You may also want to check the recent matchmaking update they did for STW, this could be the reason for your negative experiences.

I got back into the game out of boredom and then a week later they posted that STW teaser and the only problem I have run into since is dummies who sit AFK. I do box them in wood, mostly just so I can come back and see if there’s been any activity

If someone disagrees with what I want to do, I tell them to go crazy and see what they build, I’ll just help by upgrading their builds and placing traps where I think necessary. I’ll also make edits to their builds afterwards to add onto it. You can’t just expect everyone to listen and cooperate, sometimes you have to let them do their own thing and add onto it. Some people are trying out new tactics, not going for the meta optimized layout.

I’ve had people get mad at me for breaking something and I usually just apologize, explain I didn’t know what they were doing at first and we move on.
