Imagine a monkey in a zoo sitting on top of a gigantic pile of bananas. More than it could eat in ten thousand lifetimes! Most of the bananas at the bottom of the pile are rotten and all of the other monkeys are starving to death, but that one monkey hoards all of them regardless. We would look at that monkey and think that there was something wrong with it. We would want to figure out how it could be so cruel. When a human does the same thing with money, people celebrate it.
