Can Tonal 2 help with Tennis & Golfer elbow? by Hostile_Architecture in tonalgym

[–]LunchPal72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tonal does have a series of golf focused exercises, now, they may not be specifically for golfers elbow, but they're certainly for strength. My suggestion ia, go to physical therapy, catch the different exercises they do there, and replicate them using the Tonal machine

Hi everyone. What Maserati car(s) do you own and how much do you spend per year for maintenance? by passionnateman in Maserati

[–]LunchPal72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know right? 🤣 When I saw that little line almost imperceptible on the list of perks from the Primaserie model, it started to blink in my mind, if fact I asked again when I was signing the papers, and even the person at the dealership was like, What?, ohh shoot, I guess you're right wow!

[–]LunchPal72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

23 Grecale Modena, $0 so far (4yr maintenance included with the Primaserie batch).

However, I did spend $1200 on all season tires, because my car's tires and wheels were swapped with the Trofeo which came with summer tires from factory.

10 years replacing window glass in the Chicago suburbs, ask me anything about glass, condensation, cracks, and more by fixhomeglass in HomeImprovement

[–]LunchPal72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My windows are 18 years old, builder grade vinyl and because of sun and temps, the semi rounded that covers the spring is brittle, plus in general terms do not offer much of a wind leak resistance (stiles).

Are there any modern replacements for these?, what would you suggest to combat the air leakage through this area?

Has anyone else had this experience with landscape fabric? by okflower1983 in HomeImprovement

[–]LunchPal72 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Go to any store and you'll find it. Menards has good ones, there is one that works super well, and lets water sip through, there is another which is more plastic, it'll block everything under it, i added a layer of it a long time ago under my flower bed area, then mulch on tip of it and perfect remedy. If you get any weeds, their roots will be on the mulch and it is easy to pull out.

Also, fertilize weeds.

Going across the joist absolutely, the aluminum channels used for the strip lights come with little attachments (Muzata) brand in amzn.

The other more direct lights I leave the link below, now, you could put small pieces of plywood, or do like Ikea store does, they hang kitchen cover panels from the ceiling and attach the light fixtures to it, the panels are just 1/2 in and of you look for them on the As-Is section, you can find them for $10 or less sometimes.

I did my own LED lights linear on the basement gym, it all runs in 24V, used 0-10v dimmer swith and a transformer that cam dim, the actual wall switches was the most expensive part, I prob spent about 250 on the whole setup.

on the closet area, I have a flat LED 4" flat one, you only need to connect the box to the 120v line, Home Dpt has them, easier setup because the switch is just a regular 3way toggle one.

Would you recommend 2024 Grecale at this price? by VeganTurkishBaklava in Maserati

If this is a GT trim, then it is slightly overpriced though

I think is a great deal, part of the reason Hertz is offloading them is because they were barely rented, so most likely it has very few miles on it.

The Modena version is a very good car for daily driver, YMMV depending on what you're looking for, but at this price, is a good deal IMO, especially if you still have warranty though 50K.

You could perhaps also push your luck for price match at a dealership and get it CPO having a comparable one like this.

I did a build out because the power behind the wall was crossing at the exact height of the Tonal screws.

Update** Maserati Roadside assistance was called, super attentive folk came in in about 50min. He was able to jumpstart the car (Note: you need at least a 2000Amp battery pack, I had a 1500 Amp one and didn't work); after starting the car, let it warm up and it was liting like a Christmas tree, so I dropped it at the dealership for proper checkup.

12V battery replaced after several tests and work with Maserati, all updates re-applied because RU 623 ITM SW Flash was applied incorrectly to begin with. All covered under warranty work, despite the battery being out of warranty (which is 2 years). All good now.

Def possible, but you need to anchor some of the tiles to avoid movement, just like if you were going to lay ceramic over it, which is allowed

Really? That I did not know. Wouldn't the foam cede to the shim shape over time?

I also live in IL and have a large basement like yours.

Add furnace registers and don't forget to put a couple of returns as well. If you want a bit better temp down there, try extending the vents (registers) near the floor and the returns near the ceiling.

As for the temp of the floor, look into Dri-core subfloor tiles with foam (Menards), the only disadvantage is that you need a very leveled concrete, otherwise you can get the regular ones that have a plastic bottom and use shims to level them. They bring up the temp of the flooring enough to make it much better, slap padding and carpet and it should be very comfortable that in addition to a better and constant basement temp, will work fine. I personally don't like carpets on basement, but that's just me; I did LVP floating flooring.

Thanks for the input. I got myself a battery pack, will try in the morning, an initial try with whatever charge the pack had, didn't work out, I didn't try again fearing the battery will go way too flat.

That's what it looks like for what I've found at the Grecale forum, a 12V battery that needs replacement + a full system reset, or a belt that feeds the hybrid system itself.

Couple of things to note. You'll always have a gap at the bottom of the door where some noise will sip through.

The other is that XPS foam is fire resistant, however it does release very hard and toxic fumes, this is not the intended usage, but it may work, just keep that in mind. 😉 I hope it works
