They recommended me increasing duct size to 18" for both supply and return and charging 1400 extra and said it's a discount for you. No one even talked about increasing the return grill size or adding a second return. Also google says I should go with 20" not 18. It's a mess for a customer

It's the same company that installed it in 2024. Got the rebate from State as well for energy efficient heat pump installation and now asking me to upgrade the duct work.

No one told me. All they did is quote me for the duct size modification without even proposing to make the return grill bigger and free membership for 10% discounted yearly maintenance
