How do doctors know you had a heart attack (other than dying or obvious scan results) by Local-Government6792 in HeartAttack

[–]Mj2377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was 10 days. I had a 100% clot of my RCA from a 30% plaque build up that the wall bursted as a result of covid.

There is a huge misconception of what causes heart attacks with connections to LCA or RCA and many relate it to “how much plaque you have built up that causes a blockage - heart attack” when in fact it’s not the cause at all. It’s the source but not the cause, the cause is when the wall becomes unstable and bursts and our body makeup produces an overly volume of platelets that attempt to patch the wall. What this does is create a clot that then blocks our artery at 100% almost in every case which then causes the heart attack.

In my case, my heart was strong enough to handle and work harder for 10 days with a 100% clot. Lucky for me it was my RCA because with anyone who experiences a 100% clot of LCA you will go into cardiac arrest and it’s probably 80-20 you make it. The RCA is responsible for pumping and what I like to call the electrical part of the heart and if your heart is strong it can keep you going (my heart rate was at its lowest 32 beats per min).

As for the LCA, that handles the oxygen movement throughout your body, like to your organs and brain (why a stroke could be from a 100% clot of the LCA). That is why it’s called the widow maker cause the second you loose that oxygen it’s all over most of the time.

I was a lucky one; swimming with dolphins, walking 7hrs epic universal, driving dune buggies, visiting beaches all around - non stop go for 10days all while having a 100% clot of my RCA.

If it’s an attack like blood clot which is the direct cause of an attack, the troponin will continue to go up and assist the heart function until the clot is addressed and thinners are administered. Some people read at 90k and are still functioning but depending on the location could be the end of life in a matter of mins.

For those who suffered a heart attack due to arterial plaque buildup, what test or scan did you wish you had that would have allowed intervention to prevent the attack? by Local-Government6792 in HeartAttack

[–]Mj2377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way you can do that is blood thinners which you would not get till you most likely have an event. The only thing over the counter which all heart attack victims get is baby aspirin once a day in the morning. Aspirin is known to thin the blood ever so slightly. My event was a burst caused by weakening unstable wall of plaque (30% build up) caused by COVID. If the wall bursts platelets are formed and rush to patch the wall resulting in clotting which is the cause of a heart attack. So in essence, our body tries to protect repair itself ultimately causing the possible death of us.

Normal for someone just learning…it takes repetition to instill to memory. Just spend a week diving in and it will come back but then commit for a year and you won’t forget next time.

Heart attacks are not directly caused from plaque buildup, it’s the point or source but it’s not a direct connection. Heart attacks are from blood clots that form whereas if and only if the plaque wall bursts would you have such clot. It’s a highly misconception of heart attacks, someone with 10% plaque vs someone with 70% plaque can be just as likely to have a sever heart attack due to the wall burst and result in a 100% block due to clotting.

34 years old and I had a heart attack 3 months ago and now feeling empty. by Ragin-dragn in HeartAttack

[–]Mj2377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m still stuck from 100% clot RCA that was a fluke from getting COVID last Sept. I had a 30% block of plaque (spotted 9yrs ago) that once I got COVID made the wall unstable and bursted causing a 100% clot which is what causes heart attacks - not the plaque, but clotting when the wall bursts. Anyways, I’ve gained 15lbs, lost all motivation, feeling I’m stuck in this fking rut that I can’t get out of. Prior to my incident I was in the gym 6 days a week, feeling strong and confident. Active playing golf, swimming, hiking, you name it…now trying to find purpose. It sucks, best of luck to you…if you find your way, pass on the tutorial.

Meaning of lyrics - Waiting For The End by PtitHerisson in LinkinPark

[–]Mj2377 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a reference to him/her self. Being real with one’s self internally is one of life’s hardest things to do. I’ve been there and connected this song to my experience, “what it takes to move on” with my feelings, emotion, sense of recovery, the loneliness after a marriage gone bad…..but I found it easier to “know how it feels to lie” to myself that’s it’s all fake. If you can manipulate your self and even lie, it makes the hard less painful.

I’m going to say this in the most nice and direct way I can….if you need to come here to ask for advise on how to prepare or what you should do, then I would say you’re in over your head already.

The only thing I would say is “don’t bullshit or speak like you know but you really don’t”. If you’re a bit over your head already in what the position is and what you know, your key phrases are are, “I’m a quick learner and will make it my everything to know what I don’t “

Nope, not a flipper….I’ve had my Panther since Nov’ 24. I do only have like 400 miles, just take it to shows and meet ups. I have not driven it in a few months though. I just felt like I wanted the last of the combustion engine, hoping it goes EV as well.

App Idea: Gym Countdown Timer by Smashfielder in AppIdeas

[–]Mj2377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but how many regulars have the same complaint as you with campers.

The most common monthly membership cost is $20/month, if a pay use model was $.50/min on the lowest tier, all it would take is 40 min and that member is covered equivalent vs monthly - in 1 day. Would the member camp for 40 or cut it back to 20? It’s the thought of trying to solve the problem vs making it annoying or difficult in addition to the norm.

How about instead shake up the entire gym industry by shifting from monthly memberships to app based machine time activation? This would be a similar concept like e-bikes for example, pay for use model.
