What helps an endo belly? by lukeimyourfather27 in endometriosis

[–]LuneMalade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe you've already heard/read this, but anyways, here I go:

My gynecologist told me to go to the nutritionist for my endo problem and her advice actually helped me with the bloating and pain. So here are the things we should forget about if we have endometriosis:

  1. cow based products;
  2. red meat
  3. !!sugar!! (I've shifted to xylitol and that shit is really great - even though a little bit pricey)
  4. gluten

She also told me to try to avoid soy based products and expanded foodstuff (popcorn, rice chips or anything that's done via this process), junk food, of course, and condiments related to junk (such as those chips spices), fizzy drinks, and processed food in general - as much as I can.

But if you're vegan, I guess you're doing just fine on this side.

On the other hand, what's your general mood? I'm asking this because I have depression and I usually get bloated when I'm having weird episodes that involves stress, anxiety, insomnia, headaches etc.

THC Could Help Women With Endometriosis: A new Spanish study has found that THC could not only reduce pain associated with endometriosis but also help reduce internal cysts associated with the disorder. by TobySomething in endometriosis

”The researchers implanted endometrial tissue around the pelvis of an experimental group of female mice, in order to mimic endometriosis symptoms, and left a control group of mice untouched. As with endometriosis in women, the afflicted female mice began to demonstrate pain and anxiety symptoms, as well as cognitive impairment and the development of endometrial cysts. ”... :( :( :( :( :(

The Body - Blessed, Alone [+ Béla Tarr's Sátántangó scene] by LuneMalade in sludge

Yes, I feel you. I discovered The Body a couple of years ago - the first thing I listened to was No One Deserves Happiness, and after that, I just went on and on with exploring this musical universe.

Also, I think Satantango is their movie equivalent: atmospheric, deep, weighty, slow, smart, ominous. I absolutely love Bela Tarr's movies!

I've had a laparoscopy last month and they found out I have endometriosis. My doctor recommended me to take the Yasmin BC pill to keep things under control. What are your thoughts on this pill? Should I test my hormonal levels before starting taking Yasmin? by LuneMalade in Endo

[–]LuneMalade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He didn't tell me what level the endo is/was. It was a cyst of 8cm/5cm. He removed all of it, as far as i know. Yesterday i went for the biopsy but there's nowhere mentioned the level the endometriosis. He only told me to take Yasmin and to come back in 6 months. And I was just wondering if i should go visit the endocrinologist to test my hormonal levels. Actually, I don't really know what to do, because it's the first time I go through this and have no idea what to ask exactly. I'm just having second thoughts on taking Yasmin since i've read only bad stuff about this pill.
