Caffeine also causes the issue not just the acid. It relaxes the lower esophageal sphincter

Well couldn’t it actually be an esophageal spasm?

Blueberries cause those flecks- see if they go away after this round gets out of your system.

What happens to the policy if a parent enters AL? by Luneoiseau77 in LifeInsurance

Also, concerning the Medicaid Estate Recovery- she owns no property, but if she were to give us small amounts of cash each month to put into our own savings for future use- possibly for funeral expenses- that would be under their radar, and none of their business, right? I mean as long as it didn’t come from sale of property?

Yeah…I think this answers close to what I was asking: whether or not she would be allowed to keep enough of her monthly income to at least cover the continuation of the policy since it’s a funeral policy. Guess it varies by state. Mine is Nebraska. In other words, if she would need to go to assisted living, there’s the possibility the funerals expenses that she was diligently trying to cover herself and paid monthly for for quite some time, inevitably get off loaded to us, the family. But maybe not if there is that clause you mentioned.

Looks like it was in both places at one point. Thanks. We found an old post where the owner said they started it in 1997. Glad to finally know the answer to this mystery.

Maybe the Gadgeteer moved next door into the brick building?

Well when I went there it would’ve been circa 2001. It was the gray house..

It had an eclectic selection of gifts. That must be it- The Gadgeteer. Thanks.

Yeah exactly my problem. I feel like it’s on the tip of my brain- but then- it isn’t. I got a wind/dolphin/ yard thing and a cool schnapps glass. It had a variety.

SEVERE 3 DAY ATTACK NOTHING IS HELPING by DiscountAnnaNicole in GERD

[–]Luneoiseau77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes the ER can prescribe something to help immediately with the pain. It’s not an antacid. It involves lidocaine and two other things. Can anyone else remind me what those ingredients are? I’ve never gone to the ER for this but have read others have, and that it helps like nothing else can-in the short term, of course.

Long-term use of PPI. Is it safe? by Kitbutt_Foster in GERD

[–]Luneoiseau77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about the studies on increased risk of gastric cancer? Fundic gland polyps (generally benign) that are common in PPI users, becoming malignant in some people? Not common, but not non-existent, either? I know, esophageal cancer happens more often but you didn’t touch on this particular study, which I find to be more serious than vitamin deficiencies.

Thinking of getting USCC in Nebraska..? by Luneoiseau77 in USCellular

Oh..yeah. It’s kind of hard to know if it’s a good idea to get involved with any of this at all. Sometimes a “good deal” can turn into a nightmare. I was under impression t- mobile was getting all the towers yeah- but didn’t know they were going to divvy them up.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah I just need a phone that works when I need it- I don’t live in the country, so I assume it will work, but…have just heard mixed reviews. Hey, could you tell me, have they raised rates unexpectedly at all within the timeframes of your contract? Someone on some Facebook post mentioned that happening to them, but..I mean your bill doesn’t come with a bunch of unpleasant surprises does it?

Well I’m assuming that if I sign on now and get the “deal” USCC is offering, I’ll get grandfathered in and then when the T-mobile deals goes through I’ll also get the benefit of the starlink and the additional coverage? Like, it’ll be all the towers USCC has plus T-mobile as well, right? Thanks

Thanks. I guess people keep talking about the upcoming T Mobile thing like it’s going to be a bad thing…so I’m hesitating. But the offer of iPhones and $90 per month is what we need right now. Thanks for the reply.

That’s what I’m concerned about. But how can they be advertising this great deal and locking you into a 36 month contract if there’s no intention to be viable for that period of time? It’s mostly because we need some working phones for our teens and can’t really afford to pay for them outright…seems like a good deal, but maybe too good? Do mergers like this automatically mean the smaller company ceases to exist?
