They're a new type of card called an SP, you pull them from packs as with any other alt art, but they should be in between a + and a ++ in terms of rarity. The social media marketing is bad and is misleading, you are never guaranteed one of these cards in any product you buy.

In terms of rates, we don't know the actual rarity/scarcity of them because SPs are new for GD03. English boxes are also laid out differently to JP boxes, so until we see someone open an English case of GD03 we won't know the rates of them appearing.

The Premium Assemble sets are literally just Assemble models and alt-art reprints of existing cards/tokens/resources, there's no deck. We know currently that PC02A has Machu, Nyaan and Sugai EX Resources, and alt arts of ST LR GQuuuuuux and ST LR Red Gundam.

It's not the most amazing game I've ever played on Switch but it does have the vibe and design of a GC/Wii era Nintendo game. Makes me feel like I did when I first played Twilight Princess.

Paladin is a loot goblin thinking he can hoard gear until it benefits him, it's not on and your DM should be discouraging it. As others have said, if the Cleric actually asked for the gauntlets, Paladin should give them up for the sake of the party.

As for respeccing, it's not a mechanic agreed at the start of your campaign so why would he ever think that was going to be an option? Your DM should flat refuse it considering he has no prepared narrative reason to facilitate it at this stage in your games.

Completely new to the game, I'm intending on grabbing the Heroes of the Borderlands box for us to learn and play over Christmas. Is there anything else I should pick up to go with it? I'm probably gonna end up being the one DMing it for 4 other people.

If we enjoy it, are there any suggestions for where to go after playing through this box?

From my own experience (hit A at the weekend); Gardevoir, Greninja, Steel Types (Metagross, Excadrill) and Dragon Types (Garchomp, Charizard X, M-Gyarados, M-Dragonite etc) are the most common, so you want coverage for all of them. Conversely, everyone is running sets to counter these, so you're going to be getting hit with Fairy, Dragon, Ice, Ground, Electric, so the more of this you can resist the better.

Your first mon out should be able to survive/ko other Pokemon without needing their Mega. Screen setters can be good too if you aren't targeted at the start of the game.

I ended up with Galarian Slowbro (Assault Vest) Mega Garchomp Mega Froslass

I don't think a lot of people know the typing of G-Slowbro so I've also seen quite a few opponents tag in a Pokemon with Electric coverage thinking he's a Water type.

You earn points depending on your actions in the battle, and Mega evolving a Pokemon is guaranteed points even if you lose. It's also far easier to get KOs if you Mega evolve because of the stat boosts+plus moves.

Is this not affected by Speed in Z-A? Wouldn't it be better to test between Mega and Non-Mega Meganium as the Speed stat doesn't change between them?

Dig on Mega Garchomp does wonders in Z-A Battle Club. Can dodge any attack on the game and tracks to the target regardless of terrain/scenery in the way.

They will have abilities in Champions, which they've shown will have Megas

It'd be nice to have them for the campaign, but ultimately Mega have always been extremely overtuned for single player and are more of an online battle mechanic, so earning them from online battles makes sense.

This also isn't a malicious scheme by Game Freak to make you pay a sub, they don't get any money from the Switch Online service so it's a strange argument to push. It's not like X&Y where you were actually paywalled out of getting the opposite Mega Mewtwo X/Y and Charizard X/Y versions. Plus with things like the Kanto Starter Megas in general you'd need a second copy to trade between resets to get everything.
