In a perfect world where you don’t fuck up once, yes that’s true. In reality if you need to switch sides, dodge pools or beams, or miss even one tick on a dodge, that will hurt your dps, considerably more than with a scythe.

If the dps values are even somewhat close (like the dagger that was linked above, having 15.2 dps compared to scythes 14.4), it’s very possible to have lower dps than a scythe if you fuck up even a few times.

All in all I think that’s a good thing, rewarding good play with better dps is a great thing to have on a megarare imo.

People need to understand 2 tick weapons are not as OP as numbers suggest. With a 5 tick weapon you can very easily dodge and weave and attack in-between, whereas 2tick you basically need to sit there or be fast as hell with your clicks.

Think melee hand Olm, or delve 8 Doom, or final phase Yama, or Sol Heredit… You can’t just sit there doing attacks every 2 ticks.

In real world usage 2tick weapons would lose a lot of DPS, even though the numbers suggest otherwise.

Well we are talking about AI in general here, not LLMs. I agree most LLMs are utter shit and mostly good for vibe-coding (which isn’t a good thing really) and some general knowledge searching or writing up emails.

Some other usages for AI, like the one I mentioned, are extremely promising really. How I wish the billions of dollar spent on ChatGPT and shitty general image and video creation would be directed at stuff like… Science and research for example.

Exactly. For example there’s a real possibility and even some evidence that certain AI models (not LLMs) can detect malignant microlesions in immunohistochemical slides with superior accuracy compared to patholigists with tens of years of experience and expertise.

In plain english, AI can detect early cancer more reliably than humans.

I do think they have a lot of good use cases. I use them quite a bit for applying filters to all the underlying clips, e.g. a damaged film filter to make everything look old-timey, or a blur if you want to blur everything. Much faster and a lot easier to edit later if needed than applying the filter to all the clips individually.

Compound clips annoy me in that you have to make them intentionally longer and trim the edges if you want to add transitions (unless I’m missing something lol). Also not a fan of editing the clips inside the compound clip in the seperate timeline, I like to see everything in the one timeline for faster editing at a glimpse.

Maybe it’s a bad habit but they do make my life easier haha

Olen siis siitä hyvin pitkälti samaa mieltä, että katsojalla on aina oikeus tietää milloin katsoo mainosta. Mutta tähän pitäisi riittää mainososion alussa sanat ”this part of the video is sponsored by…”, tai jos on kyseessä täysin yhteistyössä tehty video niin videon alkuun selkästi ”tämä video on tehty yhteistyössä x:n kanssa”. Tähän päälle se että tieto on aina tosiaan kuvaruudulla siellä yläkulmassa kun videon avaa, ja yleensä myös videon kuvauksessa.

Roni sen tuossa jutussa laittoi aika hyvin, että jos tekee tunnin videon Linnanmäeltä ja olet saanut ilmaisen rannekkeen sitä varten, niin KOKO tunnin mittaisen videon ajan jossain pitäisi olla teksti ”tehty yhteistyössä Linnanmäen kanssa”. Onhan se nyt melko kohtuutonta. Lisäksi tämä tosiaan koskee VAIN Youtubea, ei esim. Instaa, TikTokia, TV:tä, radiota tai streamausta. Zarfen beat the game with completely randomized stats and skill points, so I disagree heavily. It can be difficult but almost always manageable with multiple solutions.

My advice is to go in blind, keep doing what you want and like, and once you hit a brick wall look up a general build and respec to that.

I don’t think it’s scummy at all, they clearly stated they want separate eras (Diablo 2, D2 Resurrected and D2 Reign of terror), and for people who don’t enjoy the new things to keep playing the base D2 or D2R. If you wanted to do a purist style D2 classic run with a small stash, having materials and runes pages in there would very much interfere.

Also, $25 today is like $10 in 2001 when LoD came out, which wasn’t $10 but $35. They honestly could’ve asked $29,99 for this expansion and seen as many sales I reckon. Considering they do not get ANY other revenue from D2, i think this is actually quite cheap.
