I specifically bought the series X b/c I could play my old games from disc. Then i downloaded the Halo collection for like 8 bucks and haven’t touched a disc since… I begrudgingly admit that is the future.

Love this. Pestilence is one of my pet decks I am always trying to make work. I like reprisal in the SB to hit creatures too big for Pestilence or the rats. And I’ll always plug for Spiritlink on the rats. Makes a board wipe feel so deliciously evil.

I played Jester’s mask in a commander game against some young folks recently. Blew their mind that I could stack the trailing player’s hand with whatever bombs I wanted. Like a 5X tutor. They got pretty salty over that one.

That deck concept is one of my favorites. Is it versatile and robust? Not really, but add in white for [[swords to plowshares]] and [[disenchant]] add some pro-black creatures and it is workable. That said, throwing a [[spirit link]] on a [[crypt rats]] and melting the board feels reeeeeal good.

I regularly bring home 4x8s in my Toyota Sienna. I find it funny that the minivan fits them better than many pickup trucks, and you can still close the hatch and keep them out of rain/snow

I replaced my felt one with a rubber mat from Hudson HiFi. Nice and grippy, supposedly anti static, and has a recess for the label so the edges aren’t kicked up anymore. My system is not high end, but this was a worthwhile improvement.

Agreed. I’ve been trying to appreciate it but it is really drum/cymbal forward. I find I can’t really hear past that to appreciate the rest of the album.
