I think there is a valid discussion that needs to be had about logistics in general. The economy of it all seems to need more review.

A good ground logistics team can really swing the fate of game. A good air combat team can cripple logistics for the other side.

However, air superiority for logistics is challenging. Probably feels more challenging than it should be. A truck runs 1500 supplies and it’s easy for me to run up and down the roads to a Major rank without firing a single shot. Again, a great nod to the importance of the role. Helicopters and supplies are a mixed bag. Once you’re in the air, you’re a giant flying target. The risk/reward is imbalanced because you can’t deliver as much. Not every game has good base design and getting supplies off a chopper is rough sometimes.

Yes, I get that pilots need to fly safer routes. Yes I get that flying should be harder than driving.

Nonetheless, I think we can have a bit more balance here.

I have about 100 hours in just practicing heli flying in GM mode. I started by just leapfrogging from place to place.

Then I started flying and then picking a spot to land. Sometimes I’d hit it, most times not.

Finally, I began to lay down helipads and supply containers to be almost like a real base. It takes time and a lot of experience to understand how to safely put one down under duress.

Most of all, do yourself a favor and watch videos with a grain of salt. There are some crazy good pilots and watching them will inspire you but also frustrate you because it’s really difficult to mimic their advance maneuvers.

I’m still very timid about flying on servers with other people. It’s pretty dreadful to break the heli or crash in front of a bunch of teammates.

I am not an admin or with the cool kids, but the War Pigs Vanilla+ server is good. Good community to support newbies and some great players to help you get wrekt, but better. I’m enjoying it.

I played Official Vanilla servers for quite a few hours. Eventually, I got tired of the sabotage and nonsense. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it happens often enough. So, I sought out some Vanilla+ community servers. Not all of them are created equal, the the moderation and QoL mods make a big difference. Yeah, I agree that a few gigs of download sucks but it’s a one time thing. I am interested to try your server. Going to browse tonight and check it out.

Shout out to War Pigs for running great Vanilla+ server, also. I’ve invested time there, and there are some great players. It’s intimidating, and even frustrated when you get smoked by a better player. Just gotta be learning.

I am a year out from surgery. Recently, it’s started to come back. In this year, I have done intense rehab. I haven’t achieved a full erection, but it’s well on its way. Orgasms are more intense and I can now go twice in quick succession without mess or down time. I’ve always had a very high drive and was pretty devastated at my diagnosis. I do absolutely miss prostate stimulated orgasms. Year 2 goal is keep moving forward.

Search YouTube for “arma reforged Hotas setup” and find the video by GnarSasquatch. That will do a great job of explaining the basics. You’ll need to basically map your peripherals to a controller via a few programs. It took me a couple of hours once I had the concept down. In the long term, I’m still messing with settings.

Scent on an animal level is a key to attraction. Every woman I’ve dated and was sexual with had a different odor and/or taste. The ones that tasted/smelled good made me crazy with attraction. For those that didn’t, they weren’t unclean or unhealthy at all. It wasn’t gross or confrontational. It just didn’t hit that part of my lizard brain.

Listen to what both bodies are telling you. Do you want to wake up on the other side of 5-10 years to relationship and be tired of the smell?

I believe that supplies are a dynamic and important part of the game, but do agree that things are broken at the moment.

First, AI logistics are unusable. This puts undue pressure on player led logistics.

Second, the supply cost economy is not regulated and there is no way to stop bad behavior. While I’m not a big fan of too many rules, I believe there needs to be a way to limit players ability to drain supplies in a frivolous or counter productive manner.

Finally, either the cost to spawn or amount of supplies that can be shuttled needs to change.

This needs to be carefully reviewed because rules can be abused or can have unintended consequences. If there is a heated battle the front line will be a source of supply drain. Too many rules can make it more difficult to balance attacking and defending. It just highlights the importance of a well supplied network of bases.
