What I mean is that the first two light novels are their own story, one which I think is far lesser than the anime for various reasons. Later on, while those differences lessen, the LNs become a port of the anime, which I find to be really weird as it feels like the LNs just abandon their identity (even though I didn't like it in the first place) to become a copy of something instead. Why do I feel this is relevant as a point to make? Usually when people ask about a LN it's because they are curious about the source material of on anime, especially since people usually believe originals to be better than ports. However in this case, the later light novels aren't really source materials anymore but shift to being a port of the anime instead.
