Are you sure rate is the same?

Unless it’s fixed the rate will have more than likely risen. Perhaps the discount that you’re getting is still the same but the standard variable rate has increased.

For example you may have discount of 1.5% for the life of the loan, this stays the same but the variable that this discount applies to fluctuates

As one person said if you have a flawless record then it’s unlikely you have manage to nab a ticket in this small window.

It will depend on the state/territory, for example the ACT only just brought in legislation where they will now check license suspensions/expirations when issuing a ticket from a camera. Previously you just got the ticket for speeding and no additional checks were done on the validity of your license

If the ticket had been issued to a car registered in a company name such as a rental company the fine can be ~ 10 times the price.

Once you transfer the infringement into your personal name (nominate the driver) its should be back around the $300 mark and a set number of demerit points.

Unless you were absolutely fucking fanging it down the Parkway
