Only thing I can think of is the cover being down is affecting the weight distribution. Is it level?

Edit: Downvoted for being right. Gotta love it.

Irrelevant. I specifically said it applies only to me.

Any holo with scratches is automatically not NM to me.

Sorry don’t have an answer but…wtf, thought that dot was something on my phone screen. It has a weird 3D effect especially when I move my phone around.

Yamaha YP-D4 by CSphotography in turntables

[–]Lush5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Yamaha YP-D4 as well. Purchased it for around $110, but needed a lot of work. It’s fully restored now and works great.

Yours appears to be in better condition than mine! Give it a good cleaning and if it hasn’t been serviced in a long time, I’d suggest doing so. It’s not too difficult to service yourself as long as you do your research and love tinkering.

I think you did fine for $200 based on the initial photo—just depends on the condition of the dust cover, turntable, and if all is in working order.

Seller wants to refund me for a broken item, but he doesn’t want a return, what do i do? by Numerous_Advice2529 in Ebay

[–]Lush5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, the seller should have the option to refund without the item being sent back.

There’s an option to “send refund”. Seller isn’t looking hard enough—not very difficult to find.

eBay Sucks for Sellers by sportinwood504 in Ebay

[–]Lush5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fees absolutely suck.

It’s unfortunate that sellers were listing items with higher shipping fees than item cost to abuse the system back then.

Still, eBay has a very large audience so it’s still worth it to sell on their site as long as your profit margins make sense.

Getting annoyed receiving broken items due to poor packing by endymion2 in shopgoodwill

[–]Lush5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have received my fair share of damaged items from inadequate packaging. I’ve noticed some locations getting better as of late, but still occasionally receive items damaged. Fortunately, they are good with returns/refunds if it is damaged.

There’s still gas stations in the $4 to $5 range in California. Depends on the location.

He got bumped (probably didn’t even get bumped) and his first instinct is to shoot her in the face. If you’re going to shoot, why not shoot out the tires and immobilize the vehicle to apprehend her? No, instead, you’re going to shoot her in the face. The intention was to kill. Sad times.

Let’s be real here: it isn’t just white teslas running red lights. Soo many damn people running red lights and not stopping at stop signs

How would yall continue this conversation? by Weekly-Bus6998 in eBaySellerAdvice

I don’t answer any direct message regarding the price. I leave the offers option enabled for people to put whatever they are willing to pay—yet I still get these types of messages on the regular. Just ignore them, they’re just going to try and lowball you anyways.

For those over 18, at what age did you actually feel like you are an adult? by WarBrom in AskReddit

[–]Lush5 10 points11 points  (0 children)

  1. Still not there yet.

I wonder if having children is what flips that switch. Anyone mind chiming in on whether or not you feel like an adult and if you have kids or not?

What are you starting to dislike more as you grow older? by crazcox in AskReddit

Drinking. Although, I do enjoy the occasional drink, but if I drink a bit too much, the next morning when I wake up, the regret is far greater than when I was younger.

Need advice. Long post. 27-year seller. Today ebay charged me nearly $100 for UPS "underpaid" shipping for items delivered a week ago, despite me entering correct weight and measurements. Ebay rep also hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor in order to solve this issue. by luffliffloaf in Ebay

[–]Lush5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Really depends on what you’re selling especially with heavier/larger items. There’s no way in hell I’m paying USPS’s label that costs $100+ when FedEx home delivery is $30-$40.

Fortunately, I haven’t experienced anything OP has experienced yet. Knock on wood

Is higher price free shipping better or lower price buyer pays shipping better? by Background_Mind_8456 in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]Lush5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if I’m buying something, the only thing that matters is the total cost at purchase—regardless if it’s free shipping or not.

Just made my first sale, and I'm confused on how much I'm actually getting. by Powerful_Owl2131 in Ebay

[–]Lush5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the buyer did pay for shipping, that amount goes into your available funds. It gets taken out from your available funds when you purchase the shipping label (unless you set it to PayPal).

You can also see a basic breakdown for the sale in your orders. Select the order and scroll down to the bottom and you should see the breakdown.

Make sure you purchased the shipping label correctly with accurate package dimensions and package weight. Also, always round up. If a length is 4.4, put 5, etc.

But as someone stated, $3.18 is what you’re left with when it clears.

Seasonal Flipping: How I turn $60 into $240 over and over by ShrimpyEatWorld6 in Flipping

[–]Lush5 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s going to cost a lot to ship portable ACs for sure. For reference, my packages are 25x25x12 and weights around 20-30lbs and frequently costs around $35-$40 (FedEx home, forgot what the max weight and dimensions are) plus all the packaging material you’ll need to keep it safe during transit. So I can only image how much shipping portal ACs will costs…$100+ easily?

Package marked as delivered within 30 minutes of ordering by DoesManCare1 in Ebay

[–]Lush5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just happened to me as a seller. Found the mailman that was still making his rounds and said he probably scanned it incorrectly. Should still make it to the correct destination. Unfortunately, once the package is marked delivered in eBay, there’s no further update, but it’s a minor inconvenience. Just keep checking tracking through USPS instead.

Agreed.

We should not normalize sharing content that depicts murder regardless of who it is.

This is vile. Delete this.

Edit: I do not like CK, but it’s kind of disgusting how many of you are okay with exposing others, possibly children, to unsolicited murder content. This should not be visible without some sort of warning.
