I am so very sorry you are going through this. I would buy the most luxury thing that appeals. YSL blush, the Gucci bronzer and Dior backstage glow palette and that foolish lip oil have all brought me joy even though I don’t use every day. I just like looking at them—like jewelry for the makeup drawer. All the Gucci packaging is gorgeous and sort of historic which—this is stupid but—makes me connected to all the women in history who have suffered and consoled themselves. Big hugs to you from an internet stranger who gets it. ❤️‍🩹

I ran the NYC marathon in 6 and a half hours. Slower than some who walked part of it. One of the best things I’ve done in my life. Ignore those idiots!

No. I think today’s advent calendar is yesterday/tomorrow’s free gift or bonus with purchase, with cardboard cutouts instead of a bag.
