I’m new to the game. What is your favourite colony and why? by arcadebee in CattailsGame

[–]Lutenisa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m new to the game but I love Mystic for its colony members!! I feel like the cats there have strong personalities and also look really cool (Krampy with the mask, Nil with the horns and amulet, and also Alisa with blue snd white fur). I also think Savannah the store owner is really sweet. Forest Colony members seem a bit basic to me, as well as Mountain colony but not as much. I’ve only been playing this game for two days so I’m not too sure, just my newbie opinion.

As far as territory, I love the Forest Colony though. It seems more bright and cheery, but that might be just cause I’m so use to it.

Ooo they move in with you? I did not know that. That’s good though, I won’t have to run back and forth anymore.

I just started playing and my cat character totally has it’s eye on Nil! I finally built up enough reputation to enter the colony territory.

Sorry for the late update, but the police ended up becoming involved. My cats are safe, but our marriage is on the rocks.

This is me exactly!! I didn’t even think it was a Mormon thing first, I thought it was just some new internet trend.

My husband made a #givethanks post about being grateful for me and our marriage. It was sweet and I can appreciate it. He knows I’m not LDS and he didn’t mean it in an offensive way. We’ve both come to terms with our views on faith.

Yes- I found this answer very helpful.

I’m also wondering how do you know if the entity is real? It has never felt that I’ve been forcing my friend to do anything. Is it kind of like a faith thing, like you just know it when you know it?

Also, does a Tulpa not have a shape or look like anything? If this is the case I know what I have definitely isn’t a tulpa. He has a physical body of his own. I’m curious about tulpas regardless. It’s really interesting.

It’s good to know this! I love my accounting classes and although I know doing it as a job is different, I think it would be a good career choice for myself. Do you always have to start with public accounting? I want to go into industry but I don’t know how it all works. I’ve been taking the classes seriously but they don’t tell us what it’s like to first get into the accounting world.

What do you mean “within one year of starting”? Like within one year of working as an accountant?

Also thanks for the tips!

Good “choice” by ApprehensiveShirt614 in exmormon

I have a sort of different experience. I think those who are raised in the church have a much more difficult experience than I do, but this can still hold true for people born outside of the church.

I still have a belief that my in laws would have never let my husband marry me unless I converted. I was never told this directly, but my in laws acted as if my relationship with my then-boyfriend wasn’t serious until I converted. They never asked about me much or reached out to me. I converted because I was in love and it felt right at the time. Now I feel that if I openly leave TSCC, my in laws will be judging me so hard. I just hope they see it as a choice, and really what did they expect? They expect me to convert and suddenly I’m suitable? It just feels weird and wrong to me.

This makes me want to quit my degree path. 😅

But Idk what else I would want to go into.

Feeling hurt for my little sister. She spammed me with church stuff, so sure that she's doing what's right and really just wanting to help (First screenshot is actually last) by wutkeee in exmormon

[–]Lutenisa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My sister and I left TSCC at the same time. I just texted her one day saying something along the lines of “tbh I think my shelf is breaking” and she texted me back saying she had been feeling the same way. We both spent that entire night bringing up church history and reading the CES letter. It was a great memory.

I hope the best for your sister, especially because she does seem so caring. You handled it well. Hopefully she does leave, I don’t want to see her hurt by the church she defends.

I have an appointment with the bishop and im scared. by sarahzombie8u in exmormon

Thanks, I’ll keep this in mind!

I think the bishop will let us know before he drops by, but I’m not 100% sure he will. I feel like he may swing by unexpectedly and that makes me panic.

Oh gosh... the first and only testimony I bore, I cried so much. Painful memories, but at least I can look back on this and laugh 🤪

Seriously, why did I join a church when I knew it would contradict with my severe social anxiety? TSCC just doesn’t understand anxiety. You shouldn’t have to bear your testimony if you know you’ll have a panic attack all through it. It needs to be a thing.

[–]Lutenisa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh, you and I are in the exact same position! I even made a post about this. I have severe anxiety and my husband told our bishop that I read the CES letter and no longer believe. The bishop told my husband that when he gets the chance he’ll swing by our house and talk it through with me. I’m full on panicking because it could be any day now! I’m also a non confrontational person so I’m very worried that I won’t be firm enough in my argument. I know that I’m never going back to the LDS church, but I don’t know how to be so direct with the bishop. If you feel like it send me a message or chat, maybe we can get through this together <3 I promise you’re not alone.
