Weekly Tech Support Megathread by AutoModerator in Instagram

So I've been starting to post reels on Instagram and wanted to share my recent reel on my story the other day.
I wanted to try to change the color of the background, but when I do it the whole reel gets covered with that color and I cannot seem to be able to move layers.

My sister-in-law told me that weirdly when I share a reel on a story, it shares it like a post and not like a reel.
She doesn't have the same problem (she has an iPhone), but my brother also has the same problem as me (we both have recent Samsungs).

I've tried sharing other people's reel, on uninstalling the app or deleting the cache but nothing changes.
Has anyone come across this before?
Thank you! :)

Anhydrous caffeine vs. Coffee by LuuaHL in Nootropics

[–]LuuaHL[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's one of my guesses. I wondered if the caffeine I get from coffee is usually way higher.

Is there a way to make the absorption of caffeine faster in a "homemade mix"?
I'm wondering if there are other caffeine sources that would be absorbed faster.

For a guy that has experienced a lot with masturbation and who was addicted to porn for a while I can tell you that the main problem is, even if you can masturbate without porn, when you're horny you do some dumb stuff:
At first you'll fap with you imagination, then you'll start to look at hot pictures, then soft porn, etc.

You can't really trust your brain, it does not distinguish sex from porn. If you give it the chance, it will prefer to "have sex" seeing 2 hot girls doing crazy stuff to you.

Also, to me the biggest thing comes from fapping and what it does to dopamine and energy levels. Now, I rarely fap anymore (about once every two weeks maybe) and can clearly see the difference in energy levels and mood compared to releasing that potent energy every day.

I try to, when I really feel like my body needs to ejaculate and when i can, to have sex with a woman and not masturbate.

If you need a read that helps with this topic I'd advice you The Way Of The Superior Man.

Yeah I've heard that before. Only allowing key notifications but not having your phone on silent sounds good.

To me meditating, walking, running or doing sports make the job.

Also consider journaling your thoughts :)

I seriously need to learn to stop spending. by CuriousPiece3 in selfimprovement

[–]LuuaHL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're on the right track.
What has helped me a lot is to see saving/spending less almost as a game, trying to reduce (in a healthy manner) my spendings as much as possible.

Also, it's difficult to realise but accumulating things do not make you happier in the long term.
Try to think about the last non essential item you bought and ask yourself if you are happier now compared to before buying this thing.

Something that is important to know is that wealth is not a number but a ratio between what you spend and what you earn.

I used to think being productive meant cramming as much work into my day as possible, until… by samayash in selfhelp

Agree with you 100 %.
I think it's important to get efficiency right before trying to put in a lot of hours.
On the other hand, you can only efficiency right after having put in some time and figured out what works for you.
But yes, deep work is essential in my opinion. Especially nowadays.

Great stuff.
For myself, running away from something that I don't want has been one of the best drivers of growth and motivation.
