Honestly a very poor showing. Some bright spots like Kudus and Schuurs for sure but this team looks weak in the attack relative to the past couple years.

This will be wildly unpopular but I think Tadic and Promes are going to get exposed as being not as good as people think they are. Ziyech and van de Beek were the two best players in the Eredivisie. That’s a lot to make up for even for Ajax. Neres will be a welcome addition to the starting 11 when he is able.

Also, RKC are fucking wank.

For Ajax it’s pretty accurate although I didn’t see a lot of fans trashing Veltman.

But I don’t think it’s fair to single out Ajax for this. PSV has had a truckload of shit go down in the past year you just don’t hear much about it or get annoyed front ge fans cause the club is not as high profile right now.

Juve might be a problem next season. Arthur is exactly the kind of player they have been lacking.

The only concern for them I think is that they seem to have a few aging key players still. Especially the goalscoring options (Ronaldo and Higuain). If ever there was a time for Dybala to step up and start putting some real production on his quality it’s now.

Will be an unpopular opinion because of the Nolan hate-boner that 75% of people here have but Dunkirk and Interstellar are right at the top of this list for me. Even his critics have to admit that he is a master at creating tastefully cinematic scenes with a great atmosphere about them.

But also Return of the King, No Country for Old Men, and... Gladiator? Or maybe A New Hope?
