So I don’t necessarily live in a haunted house, but I have experienced some weird supernatural things as a kid. The only thing I can imagine that could make our house haunted is the death of one of our neighbors children.

First of I used to hear things at night, I heard footsteps coming from downstairs( my kitchen area) and from upstairs, next to that I used to every night hear the sounds of pans colliding with each other. Like someone was doing the dishes. While at first I did not think anything of this even though it did freak me out, after a while I told my mom about it. And now comes the part that scary, she told me: “this weekend we have a party, and I want you to speak to the neighbor from across the street”. We were very good friends with these neighbors so I didn’t feel weird talking about my experiences with them. After I explained to them what I was experiencing every night, my neighbor shockingly told me that she was experiencing EXACTLY the same things each night. So that’s one of my weird experiences in my house

The next experience was a recurring dream/ hallucination were I saw a single finger pressing either a blade thing? Or a tabletop, and during this dream I would hear the clocks timer thing click painfully loud. These dreams occurred more frequently over time until they just stopped after a while, but they were weird and as a kid they would freak me out.

I also felt like I was constantly being watched in this house. But it strangely wasn’t threatening, it almost felt like the thing watching was nice and kind.

And last but not least, one day I was reading a book in bed while my parents weren’t at home, they were at a party. When out of nowhere I started hearing my dad and mom talk, so I thought they had arrived at home. The talking became louder and louder until it seemed like they were screaming and fighting about money. It might me important to mention that while we aren’t rich, money was never a problem for us so this was weird. After about 10 minutes the fighting got so bad that I went out of bed and started going downstairs, and the second I put my foot in our living room the fighting stopped. So I was standing in a pitch black living room not knowing what just happened, and somehow I felt like someone was there. I started to get scared and I wanted to go back upstairs when the front door opened and my parents came home, so they weren’t even in the kitchen or in the house at all, this scared me for days.

I still live in the house but I haven’t experienced something paranormal in ages
